I know what this feels like. I won my race in 2022 by less than 1% of the vote after days of counting. But we brought it home, and I’m confident @scott_colom is going to do the same.
And when we swear him in as Mississippi’s next senator, we’re going to get right to work to make a positive impact in the lives of Mississippians, Nevadans, and all Americans.
10 years ago, I was a senior at Ole Miss and had no clue what I wanted to do after college. I had many professors at @olemissjourimc trying to help me figure it out, but it was @fourteenhearts who said “you’re really good at running your friends' campaigns on campus, why don’t you work in politics?”
I’ve been lucky to play a small part in some huge Democratic victories over the years, but Mississippi is always going to hold a special place in my heart.
