Paul Molitor reveals how switching to a "No-Stride" hitting approach transformed his career and solved his struggles with two strikes.
"I didn't have the plate discipline and I was kind of a panicky two-strike hitter. I get to two strikes and I'd start expanding, especially on sliders and splits and change-ups."
"So I just tried somehow to figure out a way where I could see the ball a little longer. So I just kind of spread out, got a little bit more flat-footed, trusted my hands, and all of a sudden I started doing at least a little better job of keeping the ball in play."
"And then I start just playing with that a little bit and I got so comfortable not striding that instead of just doing it with two strikes, I did it all the time."

🚨 A woman who grew up 10 minutes from Dearborn, Michigan, just laid out the playbook she’s watched unfold firsthand:
“These Muslims move into one area, they take over, and they start running for public office. They literally buy up the houses in that area and will not sell them to anybody besides Muslims. Why do you think they want these big Islam communities with schools and everything else?”
She says they’re trying to build an “EPIC City”-style enclave near her own home. Her warning is blunt: they are not here to assimilate. “They are not here to be our friends. They are not here for anything other than to take over and implement Sharia law. That is the end goal.”
Her message: Americans must stand up and vote for the country they want their children to inherit, or the next generation will deal with the consequences. “My daughter is 6 years old. She is going to have to deal with this if we do not put a stop to what’s going on right now.”

BUNTING MANIPULATES PITCHER APPROACH AND SETS THE TABLE FOR FUTURE MOMENTS
With 2 outs and no body on in the 3rd inning, losing 4-0, @Brewers Manager Pat Murphy told #9 hitter David Hamilton to lay down a bunt in a seemingly unimportant at bat.
Why?
Because Murphy knew Hamilton was known for bunting and they could set the table for a future at bat and big moment later in the game where he’d get a pitch to hit.
And that’s exactly what happened.
Hamilton bunted.
Hamilton got out.
But in the 5th, in Hamilton’s next at bat, he got a pitch in the heart of the plate and singled scoring a run and bringing the Brewers within 1.
And in the 9th, Hamilton did it again, homering on a get me over slider and extending the Brewers lead to 6-4.
You bunt to create future moments, and the Brewers did just that.

The @Brewers have swept the @Dodgers
With a payroll of $146,206,320 the Brewers sweep the Dodgers with a payroll of $339,319,244 proving that playing fundamental baseball still works!
The #nerds will claim that the Brewers are one of the most analytical teams in the @MLB because it fits their narrative but the size of your analytics department doesn’t mean squat when you see how the team plays on the field.
Pat Murphy is a baseball lifer who demands accountability from his players and isn’t afraid to pull a player from the game when he doesn’t get that player’s best effort.
There is s lot to be learned from what the Brewers are doing and hopefully the other 29 teams are watching.
Analytics have their place and they aren’t going away but the Brewers are winning because they know how to play winning baseball and they are one unit all pulling in the same direction.

But watching him last night I started wondering something.
I wonder if everyone thinks that today’s @MLB pitchers are better than ever because most of the hitters are over swinging and it makes it look like these guys are unhittable.
If you watch old videos of some of the best pitchers of All Time you don’t see the hitters with these long swings swinging and missing consistently.

The #1knee🗑️ catching technique strikes again.
Obviously this was a terrible pitch but it has to be caught in this situation.
The problem is when the catcher starts with his glove on the ground he has so much further to go on a pitch like this and it cost the @Dodgers dearly.
