I need to clarify this because this post has really ruffled some feathers. No, I am not calling for poppies, or Ukraine badges to be banned from schools, I’m saying that if you’re going to ban the Palestinian flag, then you should just ban all flag or political symbols.

Either ban any badge that could be seen as political (that includes poppies and Ukrainian flags too), or just don’t bother. This doesn’t have anything to do with antisemitism, it’s just Israel.

I fully support our Home Secretary and the government’s position on migration reform. As I said earlier this week, it’s absolutely right that people should have to make a contribution to this country in order to earn citizenship.
