Arabs in Israel celebrate Arab parties securing a record bloc in the Israeli elections and the new political power they now hold.
They are now basically the only thing preventing a new government from being formed.
This is apartheid!

I hate to say it, but they celebrated too soon again—just like Lapid did back in the day. 😂

Meanwhile, everyone thought Channel 14 was crazy, but as the hours pass, all the other channels are closing the gap with Channel 14.

Quickly?
This could’ve been written
“July 7, 2020 (or earlier) - May 19, 2024”
And have been arguably no less true
It’s been 890 days since then
(189 since AG got hurt/we lost in Rd1Gm2)
When are we allowed to attempt conclusions?
When do we begin to have bases for such things?
And… we’re back. That didn’t take long.
Gonna be this kind of bipolar sports year, huh?
There’s probably a lesson here…

The narratives you’re hearing about the Israeli election from people who know literally nothing about it are all wrong. This election isn’t about October 7 – the opposition leader was part of the war cabinet. It’s not about Iran or Gaza or Lebanon – the candidates basically agree. And it’s not about America, either. So here’s what you need to know.
Yup.
But that was the culmination of something that was so long in the making that it predated the Bubble.
It was epitomized by the tension btwn Malone & MPJ.
MPJ was the exception who could take it. Malone was the exception who could give it. Until he wasn’t—by spring of 2025.
It cost us the development of practically every player who came after Jokic and Murray; and many who exhausted their health/potential in the process.
It cost us the chance at a real dynasty.
Because while there may have been a good tension btwn Malone and Tim Connelly, there was a bad tension thereafter, which broke Malone and Booth if not also Josh Kroenke, Adelman, and Jokic/Murray/Team connective tissue.
And in the space that was left open the entire tenure of Malone, such that it only grew like cancer, the fouling/football defense (🛶—>🐺) and flopping/soccer offense (🌩️—>) of contenders to Denver’s best team and BPITW throughout the 2020s entrenched itself in NBA culture.
However much Denver/Jokic managed to hold off the health-challenged competition such as Embiid (or succumbed to it itself in 2021 & 2022 with a cry, and finally in 2026 with a whimper), its acceptance/absorption (and refusal to fight it strategically) more than its rejection (epitomized by blowups like the Payne nose incident, the Markieff foul incident and the Heat Pack throw incident) of the growing, cheating-esque aggression seeded the Minnesota Home-Wreckers and the Oklahoma City Shais turned Wembanyamas.
And left us with Malone acolyte Adelman to do nothing more but roll over for by Game 7 and beyond.
Not to mention failing to nip in the bud a friction btwn Russ and Jamal or AG or himself? (and now btwn Jokic and Denver itself); and losing more & more self-accounting (effort & motivation if not discipline) guardrails thereby.
We’re not dead yet.
But this kind of living autopsy reveals a LOT.
And some of the diagnoses may require tools or time to treat that we simply don’t have, or are so beyond our control that emotional venting may well feel like the best we can do now.
Especially if we were among the Cassandras, warning and offering treatments even, who were ignored if not gaslit for years, by not necessarily those in charge who we couldn’t hope to reach individually, but by the bridges we were accessing collectively.
Today is a hard day.
And it is only the simple minds who imagine it’s simply reducible to some, to boo or not to boo. No matter how close we are to Halloween.
Denver closed their title window when they decided to Scapegoat Micheal Porter Jr and trade him over Jamal Murray.
Trading Porter led them into the delusion that Braun was the appropriate replacement, locking him into that god awful contract.
Not only would’ve Jamal Gotten you a larger Return than Porter, You would’ve saved more cap, and kept your draft capital.
Porter Jr would’ve scaled up next to Jokic just like he’s doing in Brooklyn. He was quite perfect Next to him.
Instead you tied your cap to Braun and Johnson, and relied on the Corpse of Russ, and Now the Corpse of DeRozan, To try and form a capable cast alongside Jokic
Jokic Porter Jr Gordon Front court was always the most appealing option. And they fumbled.

BREAKING: Israeli elections have ended and the exit polls are in. All three Israeli channels have Netanyahu's bloc at 50. Eisenkot's bloc is at 52 or 53. The Arab parties are at 17 or 18, the most seats they have ever won.
Likud finished first with 24 or 25. Yashar is second with 21 to 23. Bennett has 12 to 14.
Nobody has 61. Netanyahu cannot form a government without Bennett, and Eisenkot cannot form one without either Bennett or the Arab parties. Israel had the highest turnout in its history today, and the country is still split down the middle.
This is what a Kapo sounds like.
This is what a Dhimmi says.
Do you (self-)hate your freedoms?
Israel’s Election Day is today. While John tells all of US, at least those in one state (for now), that it’s our moral obligation to support the man who is morally aligned against us.

Jamal: protect the ball, F
AG: be on the floor, F
We can talk till we're blue in the face about the bench but the main guys have to do their part.

It’s really an incredible thing—the investment in loyalty to the degree that constructive feedback is viewed as its opposite. I get there’s a line between helpful teasing and detrimental bullying. But the more calcified and scarred we become, the less flexible and fixable we get.
From 2020 thru 2024 there was the Cult of Malone.
People on Twitter and the communities like the Denver Stiffs practically weaponized its litmus test.
In 2025 it became whether you were on board with Russ, or couldn’t help but use a scapegoating urge / fail to see the forest for the trees or parse the trees from their beetles.
In 2026 it is now about Jokic, evidently / so oddly.
After he’s got to understand pitting himself against fans on (home) Day One forces true accountability; not just scrutiny of cover that’s only mostly true. For if he wants it of them or just off his shoulders (enough to double down), they’re going to want it of him.
And if it’s not really he who can’t meet it, it’s going to either expose those who cannot… or he’s going to wind up falling on their sword.
Who’d have thought, just two days later, that Saturday night’s celebratory comment would really be the spark to full powder keg?
Yup.

That was the fourth time the Nuggets have lost by 20 or more points on their home floor in 2026.
Denver had only lost by 20 or more eight times at Ball Arena from 2020-2025.

Jokić has shot 28.5% (57/200) from three since returning from his injury last season. Whether he's complaining about discomfort or not, something sure seems to be impacting his shot.
