Perhaps something to consider if you work at OpenAI / Anthropic: If your policies have produced an outcome like 'if a researcher wants to do software verification research then they have use a Chinese model', then perhaps your approach to 'safety' is net negative.

While $META was clearly a buy below $600 - arguably it might still be a buy here I mean, what do we have, right now? Basically the best direct to consumer businesses, maybe only 2nd to Google No cloud business to distract its capital spend - sorry Google Probably its normalize earnings put the PE below 30 -- probably Huge cash flows still flowing in Its advertising growth was 28% in the last quarter? I mean, look at its funding stream for its AI business: Gross profit last quarter: $49.4 billion $31.8 billion in CFO Now, they spent $30 billion in capex - but keep in mind, if you think about this compared to Google, you see what I mean Google spent $22.4 billion in Q2 2026 capex but a huge amount of this is for their cloud business, aka, not internal work loads If the scaling laws are holding, $META is honestly in one of the best positioned

From my friend @agnostoxxx… 🎯 "The market dropping almost 2% on yesterday’s OpenAI revenue confusion is a bearish signal. It shows people have zero clue of what's going on and are just ready to press "eject" at the first sign of trouble."

The OpenAI debacle with the “missing $20bn” in revenue, highlights one thing: Even though AI can solve every Maths problem out there, the Investors in AI can’t even do basic maths. Keep teaching Maths to your kids! 🥹🙏

It doesn't make sense to say a subscription plan is worth $ X in isolation. The way to think about subscriptions is that your monthly payment grants you some numbers of “credits”. Each (model, token type) combo consumes a different amount of credits. Because credit cost ratios can differ dramatically from API price ratios, the “value” of the same plan changes depending on what model and workload you’re running. Here’s how the API-equivalent value of the same $200/month Claude plan changes depending on the model and workload. (1/6)🧵

This is why I respect Maku-san so much. Zuckerberg-o is just as autistic as anyone else in that lineup. Guy struggled to even drink water like a normal person. But he never gave up. Unlike the other autists who lean into their autism and wear it like a badge of honor, Maku-san had bigger plans. He spent thousands of hours learning how to mask as a normal person. He took MMA lessons. He learned to windsurf while holding the American flag. He ate at Japanese McDonald's. Why? To prepare himself for a moment like this. A moment where the President of the United States feels comfortable whispering a joke in his ear because he's the most normal autist in the vicinity. He will undoubtedly leverage this moment towards greatness, possibly becoming President himself one day. You have to respect that dedication.
🚨 NOW: Anthropic chief DARIO just walked up and said President Trump helped put his Super Intelligence worries at ease "If we do this right, we work with the President and everyone here, we can win safely!" Imagine that, all it took was DONALD J. TRUMP getting involved and the tables are turning! No more SI dooming, no more surrendering to China. America will remain number one BOTH for national and economic security, as long as Trump is president 👏🏻

this sentiment is going to be widespread very very quickly
I work at a restaurant that does events and we received some challenging last-minute requests from a client. We scrambled to fill them. I realized later that these requests were likely made by an AI agent, and that the human client might not have personally cared. This felt bad!

"Hey Dario, congrats again on the great quarter. Nice to see the Enterprise re-acceleration. Hoping you could provide a little color on that 10% extinction # and some of the puts and takes that might have on further enterprise adoption. And then just a quick follow-up after"
Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

Bernie has never articulated how he plans to stop China. You can cripple development in the U.S., kneecap our allies, and humble weaker countries, sure. But how do you actually stop China from developing AGI?
Bernie Sanders and Greg Casar today announced the Ban Artificial Superintelligence Act. All AI development in the United States will be paused. Systems that have capabilities that match or exceed human cognitive performance will be banned. Violators will face 20 years in prison.

VLCC economics are getting ridiculous. Frontline’s Q2 VLCC spot TCE hit $152,700/day, up from $103,500/day in Q1 and just $43,100/day a year ago. Against a $23,800/day cash breakeven, that is an extraordinary earnings spread. $FRO

We could just talk about @AnthropicAI's scheme in plain language: We are embedding secret tracking technology into every output Claude generates. We hope humanity enjoys the future we are creating for it.
