I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points. (clip via @DropSiteNews)

El-Sayed: "People don't trust our party because too often we're funded by the very same people who fund Republicans... Can we actually cut the cord that we've had to corporate money and start governing like we give a damn about working people?"

It's not hard to see why James Talarico pulled off a landslide as a Democrat in Texas. Just look at his campaign materials. S-tier operation.

the average adult in this country reads at a 6th grade level. the lexile level on voting ballots are at a 17th grade level (or first year of graduate school). this is ALL by design.
Can we talk about how wording on the ballots isn’t digestible for the avg voter ? I don’t even care to be called stupid but I definitely reread multiple times 😭

you can't try to reason with people who are unhappy with their lives. the sooner you realize that, the less you'll even care to entertain them.

I am so happy that Bernie Sanders is with us today to be able to see the fruits of his labor. He cultivated a whole generation of young leaders through the movement he spawned who are now winning seats everywhere. And he gets to live to witness it. Thank you, Bernie.

Its called continental drift, Earths crust is basically a bunch of puzzle pieces (tectonic plates) floating on the lava core and when they bump into each-other we get mountains, trenches, volcanos, and earthquakes depending on what types of plates collided
algum geólogo ou pessoa que entende do assunto poderia explicar como é possível isso acontecer e em quanto tempo?? não faz sentido para mim.

people in Southern Italy can't buy food because diesel is too expensive for truckers to be able to get a living wage out of their job because you decided to start a pointless war in Iran just one example off the top of my head

Zohran Mamdani: “It’s not enough for us as Democrats to win power. We have to use that power to deliver change that Americans can feel in their wallets. When you look at these campaigns, if we want to speak about James Talarico, he campaigned on a vision for universal childcare. If you want to talk about Keisha Lance Bottoms, she campaigned on a vision of cutting red tape to build housing. If you want to talk about Jocelyn Benson, she campaigned on a moratorium for data centers. What I’m excited to see now is a recognition that the work is only just starting and this has to be delivered for working people across the country”

The Republicans 100% did this strategically because they know their dumbass voters will think it’s the democrats fault in 2027 even though the bill was signed in 2025 by Trump. They’re gonna use this as ammunition to win in 2028. It’s important to remember this was THEIR bill and THEY wanted it passed. All the cuts that are about to happen are the REPUBLICANS fault. Not the democrats and especially not the democrats who just won and won’t even be in office until the bill already takes effect. DO NOT FALL FOR THE SMEAR CAMPAIGN!
and DONT FORGET, when the Big Ugly Bill starts in January, IT WAS NOT THE DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! cause yall seem to forget how start dates work

This is a great insight to what’s happening in all the Deep South states, I want you all to realize that it was never a fair playing field. So critique as you may, but understand the odds we’re up against.

You actually do, sperm deteriorates from age 30 and from age 45 it has much higher DNA mutation rates. This causes worse pregnancies for the women that are impregnated with this sub par sperm and causes higher risk of genetic and neurological disorders in the child. Eggs however, decrease in numbers with age, but not in quality.
Men don't have a biological clock like women do. We have a different reproductive timeline. Biology isn't opinion. ⏰
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Men experience age-related declines in semen quality and fertility (often called a male biological clock) starting around age 30-40, plus increased risks to offspring, though more gradual than women's changes. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25462195/ pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC32… betterhealth.vic.gov.au/health/conditi…
