This feels surreal… MBPrep (mbprep.app) is now 1 month old.
On this day 1 month ago, I launched MBPrep, and we've rapidly grown to over 350 students from 40+ medical schools across Nigeria.
In 30 days:
• 153 paying members
• 96,000+ questions answered
• 7,000+ study sessions
• 22,000+ questions with worked answers, and over 2,000 picture-test images
And a whole lot of updates on it this month, from an iconic onboarding to practice sessions that stand out.
The number I'm proudest of: students got 70% right on a question the first time they saw it, and 82% by the third attempt. That's the whole point. You practise, you see where you went wrong, you get better.
79 students showed up on 8 or more different days this month. Thousands of questions get answered after midnight. I didn't expect that level of commitment this early, and I don't take it for granted.
We started at UI with MB2, MB3 and MB4. MB1 goes live tonight. More than 100 students are on the waitlist for schools we haven't opened yet. We're working on it.
To everyone who paid, practised, reported a wrong answer or dropped MBPrep in their class group: thank you. You built this with me.

You silly boy. Everything I paid in tuition, accommodation fees, and other levies throughout my five years of study at UI was #275,350.
Nobody needed student loans before now because university education was affordable! Now, that amount may not even cover tuition alone.

I am a 500l UI med student & photographer. Renting gears leaves peanuts after shoots. I’ve only raised about 1/8th of 2M naira+ for a Canon EOS R and some of its accessories as there are also other expenses. Any push toward my goal would ease the burden & mean the world! 🙏🏼
