I will just leave this right here: Top 10 Corporate Headquarters Departures (Last 8 Years) 1Boeing: Moved from Chicago to Arlington, VA (2022). 2Caterpillar: Moved from Deerfield to Irving, TX (2022). 3Citadel: Moved from Chicago to Miami, FL (2022). 4Tyson Foods: Closed Chicago office, consolidated in Arkansas (2022). 5Beam Suntory: Moved to New York City (2022). 6TTX Company: Moving from Chicago to NC (2023). 7PEAK6 Investments: Moving to Austin, TX (2025). 8Schumacher Electric: Moved from suburbs to Fort Worth, TX (2021). 9Morton Salt: Relocated from Chicago (2021). 10Guggenheim Partners: Reduced Chicago presence/exiting 🤷🏻‍♂️👇🏼
Anna, mocking it doesn’t change it. When Ken Griffin moved Citadel out of Illinois, we didn’t “win”, we lost jobs, tax base, and one of the biggest economic engines this state had. That’s what happens under your boss JB Pritzker, you drive out the people and companies that actually produce, then pretend it’s a joke, shows how tone deaf and the lack of business acumen you posses. Illinois isn’t trending up. People and capital are leaving, and everyone knows why. You can laugh it off, but the damage is real.👇🏼

Chicago’s budget has skyrocketed 62% since 2019, rising more than twice as fast as other major cities. Brandon Johnson and the Democrats are driving taxpayers into the ground with reckless spending and failed priorities. Chicago deserves better leadership. wirepoints.org/chicago-budge…

I released the following statement after former Speaker Mike Madigan was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison for his role in sweeping corruption: “Today’s sentencing of former Speaker Mike Madigan marks the final chapter in one of the most corrupt political legacies in Illinois history. For decades, Madigan ruled our state through fear, favors, and backroom deals, always putting his power above the people he was elected to serve. “His downfall should serve as a wake-up call. The culture of corruption in Springfield did not begin or end with Mike Madigan. It is up to all of us to demand higher standards, stronger ethics laws, and a government that truly works for the people, not the politically connected. “Illinoisans deserve a system that punishes corruption, not protects it. We owe it to taxpayers to make sure this never happens again.” nbcchicago.com/news/local/mi…

To my considerable surprise the proposed meal delivery tax isn’t just $1.50 it is STATEWIDE. Can’t wait to see how a tax on delivered pizza and dinners that will heavily benefit @cta plays in rest of state. #NoPizzaTax4CTA

While Illinois families are getting crushed by inflation, sky-high grocery bills, and rising utility costs, JB Pritzker and Springfield Democrats are pushing a $6 billion tax hike to fund the biggest budget in state history, which has grown by a staggering 36% since Pritzker took office.

WOW. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) is facing a $1.5 billion deficit. He blew OVER $600 MILLION on migrants while the city was drowning. Now he’s begging taxpayers for a bailout and pushing "progressive revenue" schemes. Sen. Craig Wilcox (R-IL) nails it: “Taxpayers shouldn’t bail out Chicago’s financial mismanagement AGAIN!”

The recent indictments and investigations into IL legislators should serve as an example of why we need ethics reform NOW. Today, members of the Senate GOP introduced a package of bills seeking to root out government corruption among members of the GA. bit.ly/307DxXP
