I think the term “ego lifting” gets thrown around too casually these days. Someone attempts a heavy weight, struggles a little, and suddenly everybody in the comments becomes an expert at biomechanics. Heavy lifting isn’t always going to look pretty.

I train during the week. Saturdays and Sundays are for recovery. No guilt, no trying to squeeze in an extra session because I feel like I’m not doing enough. I’ve got a bigger body to build, and I’d rather be able to keep training properly than spend every day in the gym.

Bulgarian split squats. Because who needs functioning legs tomorrow? Somewhere between the pain and questioning my life choices, discipline gets forged.
