Progress Update: On Goal to Build 8+ Tools & Applications
So far, 5 out of 8 are live, with the remaining three planned for release in the near future.
Here's what we've built and what we're still working on:
1/8: Izu Igbo Calendar — LIVE izuigbocalendar.com/
A digital calendar designed to help anyone, anywhere in the world, keep track of the traditional Igbo market week alongside the Gregorian calendar.
2/8: Ilu Finder — LIVE ilufinder.com/
An Igbo proverb and language database designed to make it easier for people to learn and improve their fluency in Igbo through well-documented proverbs. We're also building it to serve as a language resource for future technologies that need to incorporate Igbo.
3/8: KWUO — LIVE igbolanguagebuddy.com/
An interactive Igbo language learning platform featuring games, with plans to expand into verified Igbo language tutors, text-based learning, and voice chat experiences.
4/8: Afa Ugiri Simulator — LIVE afasimulator.com/
A modern learning and practice tool for anyone interested in studying and mastering the divinatory language of Afa Akpukpala/Ugiri.
5/8: Igbo Content Creators Directory — LIVE igbocontentcreatorsdirectory…
A directory that makes it easier to discover Igbo content creators, learn from their work, connect with them, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
6/8: Igbo Astrologer — COMING SOON
A tool designed to help people explore their astrological charts through the lens of Igbo indigenous knowledge and cosmology.
7/8: Undisclosed — TO BE REVEALED
We'll share more about this one soon!
8/8: Undisclosed — TO BE REVEALED
Another project we're looking forward to introducing when the time comes.
Each tool is still a work in progress, and there's plenty of room for improvement.
We'll continue refining their features, expanding what they can do, fixing issues as they arise, and learning from how people use them.
My hope is that, year after year, these tools will simply become more useful, more accessible, and better at serving users.
Expect more updates!

Okay, so we've given kwuo.xyz/ a refreshed look! Decided to change her outfit small.
KWUO is one of the tools we're building through @OMSVARSITY Labs to make learning Igbo language more interactive and accessible.
My main goal for this year was to have working prototypes of all the games available, at least, and we've achieved that.
Next, we'll work on rolling out the app and building version one of the Igbo Tutors section, where we'll begin listing verified Igbo language coaches for people who want to learn from anywhere in the world.
We're still researching the text and voice chat learning features, and we'll take our time to get those right. One thing I'm particularly looking forward to is using the database we've built with @IluDailyFinder to train our model to think through Igbo language. I believe this approach will make a real difference in how effective the model becomes over time.
Anyway, as our people say, nwáyọ̀-nwáyọ̀ kà éjì àráchá ófé dị̀ ọ́kụ́. We're taking things one step at a time.
Building @Igbocompanion is a project I'm willing to commit ten years of work to if that's what it takes to get it right.
The idea first came to me in 2024, but we only started doing something about it in 2025. So, we're just about a year into the journey, and there's still a long way to go.
We'll keep sharing updates as we make progress. And oh, there's still LOTS to improve, even with the features already live. We'll keep refining them, fixing things as they break, and making the experience better as we learn.
For now, go to kwuo.xyz and start practising your Igbo today!

Na I will reinterpret this through a nihilist lens!
Life has no divine architecture. Praying, fasting, binding, none of that will impact the activities of the physical world!
The Igbo philosopher who observed this is a nihilist. He is a break away from theism (Mmuo na Alusi)!
