ACTUAL transmedicalism is when your doctor forces you to wear a dress publicly for a year without hormones or hair removal to be considered trans, no informed consent and you’re stuck with whatever dose your endo puts you on (they know nothing of proper dosage, they trained to treat diabetes), puts you under a spotlight for every single thought to check your transness isn’t just some sort of fetish (and they will find an excuse to label it a fetish), and won’t let you change your legal sex marker until you get cheap botched bottom surgery from some bum surgeon who genuinely doesn’t give a shit if they do a good job. Transmedicalism is the weaponization of the medical system against trans people by transphobes within the medical system.
