Ian Smith,in yesterday's CPB Joint Committee, said that it wasn't until a psychiatrist said to him, "It's OK to be gay", that he started to accept himself. The problem with this Bill is that it criminalises parents/therapisists who say exactly that to young TI people.
If you're a parent and the draft Conversion Practices Bill doesn't terrify you, you haven't yet understood what it could do to you and the people you love best.

Sandie Peggie exposed a @RCN in thrall to gender ideology and oblivious to the needs of actual nurses. She may have lost but Sandie shone a light on a corrupt and biased system. Until the RCN stand in a tribunal in support of a nurse who understands biology, this is the truth.
The dismissal today of Sandie Peggie’s case against the Royal College of Nursing should concern every healthcare professional who believes in biological reality. Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union, said: “Sandie’s story shows why healthcare professionals need a union that understands their convictions before a crisis begins. “The court’s decision does not erase the fears and lawful beliefs of nurses who believe their union may not represent them robustly when disputes involve biological sex and gender identity. “Sandie’s experience shows how vulnerable a nurse can become when trust in union representation breaks down. “Gender-critical nurses deserve representation from a union whose starting point is clear: biological sex is real, freedom of belief matters, and lawful single-sex protections must be defended. “The Darlington Nursing Union exists to provide that representation. We will stand firmly alongside our members, seek early and effective resolutions, and defend them robustly if a dispute escalates. "Our members should never have to question whether their union shares a commitment to defending their lawful rights." Join the Darlington Nursing Union by contacting [email protected]

Spotted in Bollton, Councillors Charlotte Cadden and Nadim Muslim. And, what's this? Is Charlotte wearing her Inciteful Sisters scarf? If you've got scarf envy, just send us a dm!

Latest! ‘Rattley might as well mark his territory by pissing in the laboratory fume cupboard. He is clearly a man who enjoys pushing boundaries and, thanks to the taboo on kink-shaming and the institutional fear of ‘transphobia’, he has been indulged.’ spiked-online.com/2026/04/29…

This!
"Preet Kaur Gill, the MP for Edgbaston... “Nobody should ever be subjected to abuse because of their LGBT identity. The intentions of the bill – seeking to protect vulnerable people – are laudable. Yet there are serious concerns about the draft text that undermine what has become clear in recent research about the vulnerability of children exploring gender ideology. As the Cass Review advised, parents and guardians must have freedom to take a cautious approach when navigating sensitive topics with their children. The evidence shows that devices such as chest-binders or puberty blockers can cause long-term bodily damage. But by criminalising words that amount to ‘economic’ and ‘emotional pressure’, the bill could undermine this advice from Cass, and ensnare parents who simply want to properly examine the risks involved with early “transition”, and where appropriate, advise against rushing into the use of such serious interventions. It would be wrong if a bill created to protect vulnerable people would overreach into potentially causing unnecessary censorship of important and loving conversations within families.” "At the 2024 Labour conference, Tracy Gilbert, MP for Edinburgh North and Leith, said that introducing a ban risked “potential pitfalls” and many parliamentarians were unaware of the risks" telegraph.co.uk/gift/55e9458…

There is a particular comedy value in an MP refusing to go into a room in Westminster and then saying it will be an “echo chamber”. Niblett has to be some sort of art project.
Summer of sex MP @SamanthaNiblet4 won’t be attending the Women’s Rights APPG next week & accuses @RosieDuffield1 of attracting an echo chamber If she fears it will become an echo chamber, why doesn’t she turn up? Why is she so scared of engaging with those who think differently

So sad to see this. Claire was such rare mix. Resourceful, wise, measured, modest and truly insightful. Some women are irreplacable. With love to her family and loved ones. 💚🤍💜
ANNOUNCEMENT It’s with heavy hearts that WRN announce the death of one of our own, the truly fabulous Claire Loneragan. Claire was a fundamental part of WRN since its inception and had been key to the growth and the success of our organisation. She is irreplaceable as a WRNer and as a Director. Most importantly though, as a dear friend. We will miss her immensely. We know that all our WRN members will feel her loss deeply, not least her ‘home’ group of Somerset and Dorset. We send our sincere heartfelt sympathies to her husband Dave, her children, her wider family, and her many friends. Claire had been ill for some time but maintained her typical good humour, courage (and not a small amount of ice cream) throughout. When we have needed wisdom, hard work and application, Claire had provided these in abundance. Her hand was in everything that we did. And we all endeavoured to ‘Be More Claire’ as a result. But more importantly than that, she was always our dear friend. Goodbye Claire. We love you so much xx
