Every ambitious innovation journey begins with a small seed. Ours began in a small village, with a dream of building reusable rockets and making space access more affordable. During his school years, our founder received the INSPIRE National Fellowship from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India (@IndiaDST). This early encouragement became one of the important stepping stones in his journey, nurturing his scientific curiosity and strengthening his ambition to build something meaningful. That early encouragement helped strengthen our conviction, nurture our ideas, and lay the foundation for a bootstrapped deep-tech startup. Over time, continued support and the broader innovation ecosystem helped that initial seed take root, grow, and evolve into Abyom SpaceTech & Defence. Today, the DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, has #featured Abyom’s journey in its #Annual Report. From an early fellowship to developing rocket propulsion technologies, testing infrastructure, and reusable launch systems, our journey has been one of learning, perseverance, and continuous progress.
