The U.S. Department of War and the U.S. Navy must end the corrupt Navy Reserve program popular with the Beltway, and all officers past and present should be reinvestigated.
All flag officers who managed the program should be brought back to active service and demoted one rank.
The program is the epitome of deep state pay to play corruption. The Navy trades commissions for influence in the federal bureaucracy and up to Congress.
Moreover, Democrats who are bereft of veterans use the program to check a box, not to serve.
If it was service, they would join through the normal process, and wouldn’t cluster around Intelligence and Public Affairs.
If there was a need, the majority of commissions would be for Surface Warfare Officers.
Among the many Naval Reserve Officers include former LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, who half his donors were illegal China Smurfs. Most in politics are similarly compromised.
All classified leaks since March 2025 are from Democrats with SIPR/JWICS access. No exceptions.
This Navy Reserve Commission program is cancer and must end. Literally none of the other services have this, and if they did it would be the exact same problem.

Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

Tom Skerritt is gone at 93.
Viper from Top Gun. Captain Dallas in Alien. Duke in MASH. The dad in A River Runs Through It. An Emmy for Picket Fences.
Before Hollywood, he served in the United States Air Force.
No scandals. No lectures. Just a working man's actor who showed up and made every movie better.
They don't make them like Tom anymore.
Rest easy, Viper.

This morning's launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 with CRS-35 was one of the most spectacular launches I've seen. Totally in awe!
My long exposure shots combined into one shot to show liftoff, jellyfish effect, and landing as seen from the NASA Causeway.

I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin."
- George Washington, 1778

It is nuts. People make claims like "it doesn't deter anyone!" as if thousands of years of historical trial-and-error are disproved by some nonreproducible psyche paper.
They want to believe they are better people living at the end of history, yet cheer when Charlie is shot.
