I think this is the vibe coding distinction that's not addressed enough. Only the HORRIBLE tools and services we've been forced to deal with are in danger of disruption. If the service works well and is loved, people will continue paying. One example is Supabase - I love it, it's priced well, I looked into vibe coding my own, and it wasn't worth it, so I happily continue paying. nitter.gq/NatashaTheRobot/status…
So satisfying to have Claude migrate my email newsletter to AWS and build me a custom newsletter editing platform. Back in the day, there was a very good platform from Mailchimp called tinyletter, which I loved, but it got shut down in favor of the horrible bloated and overpriced one today. I wouldn't have minded staying with a nice platform and continue paying if they bothered to build something good and user friendly. All those horrible newsletter services can burn!!!
