The “rules” were brought in to prevent others breaking into the money that is generated at the top tier of footy.
Man Utd’s leveraged buy out has left them in the brink of administration with them now servicing a debt the equivalent of a payday loan. The debt rose almost £300million in one season even after all of the cost savings measures they have introduced.
They face financial ruin if they cannot consistently get themselves back to the top table.
For me, this is the reason for the noise at the moment . Clinging to the hope that Man City get a numerous season points deduction would almost guarantee them champions league football ( or so they hope)
This is the reason for the hysteria from @SkySportsNews @SkySportsPL @OllieHolt22 etc . Suddenly they all want justice and fur City to have to pay compensation for trophies they never won.
This needs to be looked at just as hard as the irregularities at Man City @KieranMaguire

From Jan 26 till end of season it was 1.3 per game
This season they are averaging 0.7 points per game, plus the burden of European football and an inferior squad.

On Wednesday, just hours after the verdict officially confirming Manchester City’s guilt, the Commission responsible for Portugal's witness protection programme informed me of its decision to terminate my participation in the programme and withdraw my police protection, thereby knowingly placing me in a life-threatening situation.
Given these circumstances, I have no alternative but to relocate, within the next few days, to an undisclosed location for an indefinite period of time, due to the multiple death threats I have received and the serious risk of an assassination attempt against me.
For this reason, I have just set up a GoFundMe campaign and I am asking for everyone's support to help me survive this serious situation created by the Portuguese State, which, as I have already stated, has knowingly decided to place my life at risk.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thanks to everyone who continues to support Football Leaks, and I can give everyone one guarantee: the fight will most certainly continue!

Kieran Maguire says Europe can spend £70 of every £100 on player costs, the Premier League £85, and that SCR is there to preserve the status quo.
