Big tweet, but it annoys me when people reduce Geno to a generic villain who had daughters but just didn't end up caring about them. You guys are boring. Imagine you are Geno; you're a fucking insane, genocidal, scientific perfectionist. You're not well; you're a guy whose ideology and mentality are significantly warped from standard thinking, and people are upset that this guy doesn't treat his children like a normal person? I'm truly shocked at the concept. Geno actually loving his daughters adds so many interesting layers to the Sisters and Geno. This man so beyond messed up; after the sisters found their out, he read their freedom from his grasp as a failure in his leadership; he wasn't strict enough, not harsh enough to keep them in line, and despite that, he still blames Seven propaganda instead of any slight doubt that he was an imperfect father, he failed his children not because he thought he was a bad father, he was perfect, and so were they, but he couldn't permanetly reinforce his insane idelogy onto them, meaning something about them was clearly wrong, so instead... he removed them, created copies with fixed mentalities, the Sisters were physically perfect, but their thoughts led them astray, the snapshots no doubt have Geno's fixed idealogy programmed into them after the originals resulted in lost causes. You could argue he simply wanted to kill Order when given the chance because he can't have an anomaly as powerful as him, being against him, just running around, but I like to think it's way more personal, because while Imagined did it to herself in hopes of killing Geno, all she did was resolve an error in his plan, or "tying up a loose end". Order is still here to show Geno that there's still an imperfection that he caused, a mirror he hates looking at; she isn't just a failure, she is his failure, and he can't stand it.
