Kaduna people were brainwashed in 2023. Isa Ashiru Kudan had an agenda to revive the goat industry in Kaduna, a brilliant idea that could lift millions of Kaduna people out of poverty if properly executed. Instead, he was branded “Mai Jajayen Awakai” in a silly attempt to ridicule his idea. Kaduna people were brainwashed in 2023 into thinking the current governor represented progress & technology while Isa Ashiru Kudan represented backwardness with his agenda of prioritizing local businesses like goats, sheep etc. The same goat milk, meat, and premium hides that are highly valued in international leather markets and could integrate our Kaduna rural communities into a commercialized, multibillion dollar livestock value chain. I made a thread 3 years ago describing how European Union has a special income support for farmers to import lamb, mutton and goat meat from New Zealand, Australia & even from Mercosur countries. These are advanced countries supplying Goat & Sheep meats in the so called 21st century. It’s Kaduna that you now think is bigger than supplying Goat meat. There are success stories even within African countries like Malawi. Kaduna State has now been left with a multidimensional poverty rate affecting over 8million people and still rising every single day. No jajayen awakai, no Takanology, no meaningful initiatives to save the people. Just political gimmicks here and there. We will learn the hard way!!!
