I feel like some people need an education on the intensity that is Ernie Sims
My dad worked at Channel 4 and NBC for years, so I always favor them, but I always have love for the Channel 9 folks. S/O to Andrea Roane and JC Hayward

A program source from that time told me recently "if we were a serious program, we would've never gone to the Orange Bowl."
Some first-guessed it. Lots second-guessed it. Much was exposed while FSU was at its most vulnerable.
In less than 3 years Mike Norvell went from leading a 13-0 program to out of a job.
How did we get here? Some thoughts on the infamous playoff exclusion, roster misses and more that ultimately doomed Norvell at FSU: cbssports.com/college-footbaβ¦

I still contend that Florida State getting shafted in 2023 is one of the travesties of college football. They were literally an undefeated power 4 champion and had the best defense in the country. They just beat a top 15 team by 10 points in a neutral site with a new QB. But FSU didn't make as much money for ESPN as Alabama or Texas (especially with a potential Alabama Texas rematch) so they were left out.
Jokes on the committee though. They didn't get that Texas Alabama rematch they wanted. Both teams lost.
Tell me - what blue chip athlete would want to play for a team who can go undefeated and still get left out of a 4 team playoff? It's no wonder FSU struggled after that.
It was unforgivable and did perhaps irreparable damage to the sport. I know Texas beat Alabama by 10 at their place, but it would have been more forgiveable to put Alabama in over Texas than to put them both in over FSU. FSU should have been a lock. β at Maple Bluff, WI

El-Sayed: "How expensive is having kids? ... The party that wants to tell me that they're pronatalist, their solution is: let's cut taxes for the billionaires, and let's go to wars we have no business fighting... do not be surprised when people don't have kids."
The OL (even with backups) played horrific last night. I think Chennis takes it personal when they play us. He was OC 3 years here under Coach Hill and never got a shot to be head coach after Hillβs exit. They could have hired him instead of Tyrone Wheatley. Now, look at us
After that beating they gave us last night, I wonder why he never got a shot to be Morganβs coach considering he was Coach Hillβs OC for 3 years.
I was always very skeptical of the MEAC schedule and worried how we would perform. My worst fears were correct, unfortunately. We still have a long way to go as a program.
Another disappointing performance by Morgan. Lesson learned. We better not EVER think the words βCelebrationβ or βAtlantaβ until we can sniff Thanksgiving. SMH.

No Illmatic. Aquemini is a better album than Stankonia. Maybe they donβt wanna give Hov two spots, but Reasonable Doubt belongs on the list with The Blueprint. And thereβs an east coast bias without The Chronic.
