I quit X for 2 months. But…. I’m back. Here’s what I’ve been up to: Most of you know Summer started super rough for my wife and I. After losing her mom, there was no question, I’d be taking time off to support my #1 priority. It hasn’t been easy. We had to: · Sell her car · Close her estate · Clean out her apartment All of which took a huge emotional toll on us. Posting and engaging on X was the least of my concerns. Despite everything, The summer had some great moments. · We went camping for 5 days with some friends · Visited Niagara Falls for a few days · Saw a couple amazing concerts I figured it was important to get in a couple fun activities Even though at times it wasn’t what we felt like doing. We were happy afterwards for pushing ourselves to get out. We know we need to. There’s still a long road of healing ahead. Life will never get back to normal. It’s just different now. The best we can do is take things from here. And that’s okay.

If you don't respect yourself, Who will? Be kind. Show patience. Talk to yourself as you would a best friend. Self-love is a beautiful thing.

We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we look fear in the face' Eleonor Roosevelt Pairs well with my short video on that beautiful skill. And it is just that, a skill. Not something we are born with but something we hone with practice.

If you're lucky enough to: Come up with a "new" idea, THEN... You'll have a great business. I don’t think that’s quite right. What I am about to tell you, I think is actually easier... Although at first it may look harder. I don't know about you, I am probably NOT going to: Come up with the next Uber or AirBnb. Or Snuggie. Good news for the rest of us... We don't have to. I've sold over 10M in products online. I promise you it did not come from... A spark of genius. My opinion, A good business comes from: 2 phases: ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PHASE 1. Recognizing Opportunity. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Hard to understand without examples? I got you. Let's chat examples... *Yes, many of these are already taken. They're just to get your mind thinking. ✨ Example Set #1: Existing market, empty space. ✨ • No one’s talking about fitness on Twitter? ↳You start. • No one’s serving senior citizens with fitness? ↳You do. • Landscaping demand high near you? ↳ You start something • Rock tumbling kits are trending, But no one’s selling on Amazon. ↳You fill that void. • Homeschooling moms need printables, But no one’s offering them on Etsy. ↳ You create them. ✨ Example Set #2: A New Market. (( When it's new. )) ✨ 1. Something with AI. 2. Amazon in the early days. 3. Twitter when it was new. This one’s trickier... But if you keep your eyes open, Opportunities pop up. They may not last forever, But they can add a nice layer to your income. If you have the bandwidth— And it fits what you know— Keep an eye out. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PHASE 2. You Operate The Business Well. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Manage Yourself. You don't take unnecessary risks. But you do take calculated ones. • Manage the Money. You don’t overspend. And you reinvest wisely. • Manage the People. You hire carefully. You treat people well. You deliver great customer service. • Manage the Operations. You create systems. You evolve them as needed. • Deliver Excellence. Your product is good. It’s priced right. Customers love it— And want to tell others. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ So to review... 1. See an opportunity. 2. Work a business. No magic ideas required. You need some awareness. You need some execution. Spot a gap. Fill a gap. And run the hell out of your business. Starting a business— Running a business— 2 skill sets. Both within reach.

Ditch the victim mindset. It’s our responsibility to thrive - Regardless of what happens to us. Not to use it as an excuse to stay average forever.

"I hate my life. I shouldn't be a father." Six months ago, I used to tell this to myself every week. - I was obese with terrible bloodwork - My marriage was falling apart - My children hardly ever saw good in me But I fixed it. Here are the 10 steps I used to regain my life:

My mornings were mindless. Snooze button 3 times - Minimum. Just to rush out the door, And barely make it to work. Now? I start the day with intention. I get up early. There’s something about the stillness. Something that I love. No noise. No chaos. Beautiful quiet for myself. I journal. I exercise. I get outside. I mentally prepare for the day. My morning routine boosts my productivity. By the time I leave for work, I’ve achieved more than most do all day. Find what works for you. Perhaps it’s reading. Perhaps it’s meditating. Perhaps it’s a walk outside. Find it, and make it consistent. Stick to it. Build the habit. Start your day with purpose. Winning the morning sets the tone, And makes it easier to win the day.

People may seem to have it easier on the surface, But you never know how hard they're fighting behind closed doors. Comparing yourself to others only breeds resentment, And holds you back from reaching your full potential.

Embrace the chaos. All of it. The uncertainty. The messiness. The unpredictability of it all. Opportunity presents itself in those moments. Opportunity to learn. To grow. To become the best version of yourself. Let go of control once in a while. Embrace the unknown. Trust that everything will work out in the end.

Do the thing. Face your fear. That feeling you get after? Nothing compares. There's so much growth waiting for you on the other side.

I used to be such a “yes” man. Agreeing to every request. Every invite. Every favour asked of me. I thought this made me helpful. Like I’m part of the team. The truth? It overwhelmed me. Burned me out. I had no time for my own priorities. No time for myself. So, I began to say no. At first, it felt weird. Uncomfortable. But over time, It became empowering. Every “no” freed up time. Time for myself. Time for what truly matters to me. If you’re feeling stretched thin, Pause. Reflect. Is this worth your time? If not, say NO. Politely. Firmly. See how your lie begins to change.

Something I won’t be doing this year? Purchasing an iPhone 16. It’s not worth the cost. As tempting as it is. I’ve been using an iPhone 11 Pro for over 4 years now. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. I don't use my camera in any special way. There’s plenty of storage on the cloud. Plus, Yesterday I replaced the glass on the screen. It looks brand new. Instead of purchasing a new phone every year, Invest the money. It could potentially earn you thousands of dollars more - On top of the money you save waiting another year. Think about it.....

I don’t have the time. The time for that excuse, Is OVER. We’re all gifted 24 hours in a day. Be intentional with it. Even if it’s only 30 minutes. It beats scrolling for 3 hours. Set a timer. Create. Build. Improve. Time isn’t the issue. Your time management is.

A limiting belief that used to hold me back: I don’t have what it takes to be successful. Successful people start from somewhere too. Exactly like us 'average' folks have to. They took a risk and tried. They put in the work. I convinced myself to change. To start pushing to new limits I didn’t know I was capable of. Anything is possible when you believe it to be.

I wasn’t having fun anymore. X seemed like too much of a grind. Things were foggy. Unclear. Seemed like I was wasting my time. During my 2 months away from X I did a TON of reflecting. My biggest takeaway? To make it enjoyable again. Make it fun. So I am. I’m engaging with people because I want to. Not because I feel obligated to. I also figured out who I need to help most. The answer that was right there in front of me. People who are 2 steps behind me. 9-5ers looking to win back their passion and fulfillment in life. People fed up with living life on autopilot, Who wanna start a personal brand of their own, And looking to improve their mindset and habits. Coming back with this mindset feels completely different. Less pressure. More clarity. And lots more fun to be had.

Where does all the time go? 1 year. 5 years. 10 years. Do you think about what could've been done with it? Do you wish you accomplished more? Good news. It works both ways. Stop wondering. Start improving. Keep it enjoyable. But be disciplined. As time passes, Your progress skyrockets. You're only a few months away From being a completely different person. Make a plan. Make the change.
