My ongoing theory is just that the good NFL QBs generally are just throwing to the guys who are open.
Here’s the thing, sharp coaches have always known the 51%’s from the 98%’s. The math just dresses it all up. The non-sharp coaches don’t understand how to apply the numbers anyway. So we’re right back at square one.

So here’s the thing, it was an extremely dumb move to shove Prescott well after the throw. Hard hit? No. Way late? Yes. Just a very dumb play.
I’m a doctor, never once heard sleep should be avoided for a blood clot (wtf??). 1) Sleep is not a choice it’s a biological necessity. 2) sitting/standing all day leads to blood stasis - bad for clot. 3) Sleep deprivation leads to stress response & inflammation - bad for clot.

#49ers principal owner Jed York has been suspended for six regular-season games and fined $500,000 for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy, the NFL announced today.
During the time the league’s investigation has been proceeding, York has stayed away from the 49ers first three regular-season games, as well as from NFL league meetings. Those three missed games are counted toward his suspension, and he may return on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
You may not like the rule, but by rule this is clear roughing the passer. Not allowed to drive QB into the ground with full body weight, defender has the obligation of tackling to the side or bracing the ground impact. Impossible task? Maybe. Penalty? Yes.
Wild how many comments are “what do you expect they don’t throw him the ball”. That’s just not how the real world works. In the NFL you have to earn targets. They’re definitely NOT feeding guys because they’re worried about effort level if they don’t.
