I love to see the Democrats dancing. The formerly bankrupt Labor and Meretz were successful transformed into an excellent list of old and incoming MKs, with a sound base including many young people.

At PMQs, Prime Minister @andyburnham told the House of Commons that he condemns the Green Party’s ‘Zionism is Racism’ motion as antisemitic. Burnham also said that the Labour Party cannot support a partnership with a party that holds an antisemitic position.

Breaking: Looks like Andy Burnham has now moved to say he opposes any deals between Labour and the Green Party following their decision to equate Zionism with racism. At PMQs he described the motion as "wrong" and "antisemitic", adding "and this side of the House will have nothing to do with it. He continued: "And we will always take the right response when it comes to any partnerships we have with other parties, we cannot support a partnership with a party that holds a position that has recently been adopted."

Patriotism cannot only be about what we are against - it has to be a vision we are fighting for. That vision is embodied by the tapestry of different cultures writ large across Finchley & Golders Green that creates a rich, proud, resilient British identity. (1/3)

What the Green party have done today will not bring ease to a single Palestinian life but it will I am afraid expose many British Jews to danger. It is no different to when elements of the British right lean into Islamophobic rhetoric for clicks and short lived political gain.
My statement following today's debate and vote at conference on the motion Zionism Is Racism:

This afternoon was an inopportune moment for a Green Party canvasser to knock on our mezuzah’d door

The most antisemitic motion ever put forward via a democratic vote at a British political party conference is about to pass by a large majority. The limited safeguards amendment lost by a large margin. It seeks to put an ideological and networks purity test in front of every Jew.

The amendment to safeguard Jewish members was defeated: 684 in favour, 1,026 against. More than a thousand delegates voted against those protections. This is a deliberate rejection of Jewish members’ right to participate without discrimination. A party that votes against protecting Jews while debating whether their self-determination is racist is practising the racism it claims to oppose.

The sooner Netanyahu’s cronies are voted out, the better. Solidarity with Shabana Mahmood - these attacks are clear racism.
When people speak of the political takeover of a country by Islamism, they imagine bearded sheikhs in robes. In reality, political Islam often looks exactly like this: Oxford English, fashionable clothes and progressive rhetoric. That is true of the Islamist @NYCMayor Mamdani and it is equally true of the Islamist @ShabanaMahmood. I sincerely hope, for the sake of the British people, that the lunatic BDS activists who have taken over their country do not drag Britain into an abyss from which there is no way back.

What is the charge? Having a lunch? A succulent oyster champagne lunch?
Robert Jenrick says Nigel Farage’s “sole involvement” in the donation investigation was to “have lunch.” “You can't criticise a leader for saying thank you over lunch to someone … being polite is not a crime these days.” @rosiewright99

You're not fighting the establishment. You're fighting a bin.
In 2024, I told Clacton that I would fight for them against the establishment. They are trying to destroy me for it — but I will never stop.
