Congrats to Martin Wrigley on his election as Newton Abbot's MP.
Whilst we didn't win in Newton, Keir Starmer's transformation of the Labour Party over the past few years has been nothing short of utterly remarkable.
It's been an absolute pleasure to have been a part of it!
Excellent team out today in Somers Town for @Sagal_AW, Labour's candidate in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election.
Let's win this thing!! 💪🔥#VoteLabour – at London, England

I’m not usually one to defend Zack Polanski, but the idea he doesn’t have at least one single connection to Camden is just nonsense.
Look, here he is standing for the council there in 2015… as a Lib Dem… during the austerity coalition…

I couldn’t be prouder of these fantastic four candidates.
This was a really tough and hard fought campaign, and the results show that party members share our focus and commitment to delivery.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped with the campaign, this is a truly huge win!

Vape shops. Betting shops. Dodgy businesses.
If you look at your high street these days and think ‘who asked for this?’, you’re not alone.
I’m doing something about it. We’re giving local people and councils more control over what opens, and tougher powers to crack down on businesses that aren’t good for our communities.
For too long, Westminster has stood by while our high streets declined. That ends now.

You voted against scrapping zero hour contracts.
You voted against banning fire and rehire.
You voted against day one sick pay for workers.
You said the minimum wage was too high for young people.
Reform politicians openly say they don't like trade unions.
You will always put the interests of your offshore crypto billionaire donors ahead of workers.

Essential reading from Alan Milburn today.
Pat is absolutely right - opportunity for young people must be a national cause.
I commissioned Alan Milburn’s work because more opportunity for young people should be a national cause.
We have begun with the Youth Guarantee. This powerful report shows we need to do all we can to put work and opportunity at the heart of what we do. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy02…

When I organised @JewishLabour’s conference in 2024, we had to report this woman to the Police for threatening to bomb the venue
It made headline news and was reported on by the BBC
Why are these people attracted to the Green Party? Why does Polanski welcome their support?
Great to be back on the campaign trail in Palmers Green 💥🌹
Lots of young voters appalled by the Greens' blatant NIMBYism and consistent opposition to new affordable homes across Enfield! #VoteLabour

Keir Starmer is quietly turning into quite an impressive PM for an international global crisis. Calm, astute and strong when he needs to be.
Not that he’ll get any praise for it in the media or on here of course, but he has shown real leadership in an extremely challenging situation.
Great energy today in Gorton and Denton for today's @YoungLabourUK campaign day — 6 hours to go!!! 🔥✅ – at Manchester, England

With the threat from Reform only increasing, it’s never been so critical to have an organised and united youth wing.

Labour then. Labour now.
Our Best Start Family Hubs will support families right across the country.

ALT WITH LABOUR, THE LEGACY OF SURE START IS BACK. Now, we've announced up to 1,000 Best Start Family Hubs to support half a million children across the country. Under the Tories, more than a third of all Sure Start centres were axed. 1999- Labour launched Sure Start to bring together early education, childcare, health, and family support in deprived areas. By 2010, 3,500 Sure Start centres were up and running.

Make no mistake, let there be no doubt.
We were elected to deliver this Employment Rights Bill and that is what we will do.
We won’t accept any watering down by the Lords.
In full.
No ifs, no buts.
