Don't sleep on phone sign-in with MS Authenticator as a passwordless option, especially if Windows Hello for Business or FIDO2 requires a lot of work in your org. Sometimes a forgotten about option, but often an easy one to get traction within companies - learn.microsoft.com/en-us/az…

To better protect our customers from ransomware we turned on tamper protection by default for all new MDE customers. To further protect our customers, tamper protection will be turned on for all *existing* customers, unless it has been explicitly turned off in the M365D portal.

Due to breaches involving MFA bombing (attacker keeps sending MFA requests until accepted) now is the time for organizations with Office 365 to enable MFA number matching in Microsoft Authenticator. You can deploy to a group before configuring for all. docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azu… 1/3

"Deep insert" skimmers -- handmade devices that can fit inside an ATM's card acceptance slot -- have gotten super thin. This one's ~ 1/2 the height of a dime. Paired w/ hidden cams to grab PIN, clone cards. Here's a look at a bunch of these found recently: krebsonsecurity.com/2022/09/…

Microsoft partners - please review and let me know your thoughts on how we can better secure our customers.
🧐 Managing security is not an easy job. 🔐 As a #MSPartner, you can give your customers a hand by helping them turn on Microsoft #Azure Active Directory security defaults. Find key talking points to help guide your discussion: msft.it/6016juxfn

If you are going to try to phish me as paypal, maybe try updating the From field. LOL, had to share. Have a great day everyone.
First thing to share for Microsoft CSP Partners, please subscribe to alerts that indicate there is cryptomining in your customer's subscriptions. You can get these via email or API. For either option, send them to your ticketing system or SIEM and ensure someone is following up!
