The collapse of Catholicism in LatAm happened because the Church aligned itself with leftist and communist movements. Bring back tradition, bring back conservative clergy, and the bleed will stop.
Protestantism, especially non-denom, is spiritually female: it is anti-hierarchical and reduces faith to individual judgment (feelings-based faith).
Catholicism is spiritually male stressing tradition, submission to a greater authority, and patriarchy (rules/tradition-based).
Data from Pew in 2025 showed 6% of Indian women ages 15–44 had given birth in the preceding year (7% for immigrants and 3% for U.S.-born Indian women)
This very roughly corresponds to a TFR of 2.0 for Indian immigrants and 1.0 for US-born Indians.

Bolsonaro just pulled ahead by a razor thin margin.
Belize census data shows Mennonite growth at 2.9%pa from 2010-2022, providing a rough estimated TFR of 4.5 for Mennonites VS 1.54 for non-Mennonites (1.66 overall). That puts a very rough estimate of Mennonite births at 10.8% of Belize births.
Belize 2025
Births: 6,009 (+3.57% YoY)
Deaths: 2,125 (-8.68% YoY)
2025 mid-year pop. 417,634
TFR 1.66
worth keeping in mind 4-5% of Belizeans are Mennonites, and likely form a growing % of the birth population, likely ~8% !!

"Indian" is a constructed ethnicity for political convenience. It doesn't exist from a genetic perspective. Han Chinese is similar - North and South Han are about as related as Scandinavians and Southern Euros.
This is precisely why the left controls every institution. Leftists stick around where they're not wanted, until the time to strike is right. Right wingers are always trying to build their own X and in doing so give up accumulated institutional power and resources.
Chinese births have declined 7.1% per year on average over the last 10 years while US births have declined an average on 0.94%.
If these trends continue (big if), the US will overtake China in births in 2039.
In 1972, nearly 8 times as many children were born in China as in the U.S. In 2025, only 2.2 times as many. Consider also that China’s total fertility rate in 2025 was 0.93, while the U.S. rate was 1.58.
If fertility rates remain at those levels, the U.S. will overtake China in births at some point in the 2060s (depending on immigration flows to the U.S.) and in total population by around 2100. A world where the U.S. has a larger population than China is very different from the world today.
Of course, this is a big “if,” but it is a nice thought experiment to illustrate the importance of demographics in shaping Great Power competition. Among the great powers, the U.S. is the least demographically exposed.
The US (1.57) now definitively has a higher fertility rate than Latin America (1.44).
Central America, including Mexico, has a population weighted TFR of 1.43 while South America sits at 1.45. Numbers may be even lower as Venezuela's numbers are unreliable and outdated.
Interestingly, Jujut has the highest percentage of people identifying as Native (~10%) and has the lowest TFR at 0.74.
Meanwhile Misiones is the highest at 1.42 and has a high percentage of Italians, Germans, and Poles from Southern Brazil with only 2% identifying as Native.
Africans really think the Arabs and Chinese wouldn't immediately enslave them if the West fell? We are the only bulwark against slavery returning worldwide.
At a population of 100K, Mennonites are approaching 1% of the Bolivian population and likely 2-4% of all births in Bolivia.
Mennonites have a TFR at least 3x that of the Bolivian average (1.56 vs 5+).
🇧🇴 Pailón Municipality, Bolivia: (Pop - 54k - TFR 3.2)
• A key window into the country’s rapidly growing Mennonite community:
Pailón municipality in Santa Cruz Department’s Chiquitos Province stands out as one of the clearest places to observe Mennonite demographic and cultural impact in Bolivia.
A good few observers have already pointed out Pailón and it's unique TFR and age profile. They include @ComteWasRight, @Ulmer62336950, @BirthGuage, @magyarskinhead and the original work done by @EurocentricTuga.
The municipality’s total population reached 54,495 in the 2024 census (up from 37,866 in 2012 and 28,520 in 2001), according to official figures compiled on citypopulation.de.
Mennonites (primarily, but not exclusively) conservative Old Colony and related Russian Mennonite groups speaking Plautdietsch (Low German) form a large share of the population here.
Nationally, estimates by many of the same researchers above put Bolivia’s Mennonite population at roughly 90,000–110k in recent years (with many sources clustering around 100k plus and high growth driven by their large families.
Pailón hosts a high concentration of colonies (sources have cited around 11 in the past within the municipality), making it one of the most important settlement areas alongside other nearby areas.
Gauging exact Mennonite numbers is challenging. The communities are often insular, with incomplete participation in official censuses, so independent researchers have had to do detailed, painstaking work of mapping individual colonies, analyzing satellite imagery of farm layouts and churches, cross-checking settlement histories, and compiling colony by colony estimates.
Other far more proficient and more prominent X accounts have already done much of much of the heavy lifting with regards to the Mennonite population in Boliva. This kind of granular work on Bolivian Mennonites include
(who regularly posts satellite analysis of colony setups, foundation dates, and traditional vs. progressive features).
Efforts like this help to fill gaps left by official data.
One of the best official proxies for their presence and impact is at the municipality level via language statistics.
In the 2024 census, German was recorded as the main language for 21,681 people in Pailón, or about 40% of the municipality’s population (Spanish was the main language for 27,911).
Earlier data from the 2012 census already showed very high German first-language shares in rural Pailón.
Nationally, German speakers (aged 4+) numbered about 75,852 in 2024, the large majority in Santa Cruz Department, with Chiquitos Province (which includes Pailón) standing out.
The age profile underscores the demographic dynamism of the region
Per the 2024 data on citypopulation.de:
• 0–14 years: 20,715 (38%)
• 15–64 years: 32,080
• 65+: 1,700
I will link some of the others work in the area, below in the comments section.
My apologies for any potential incorrect information in advance (on my part) as the above mentioned accounts have put in the work and can be relied upon for up to date and accurate information.
Sarcasm is a staple of almost every European culture. What's interesting to me is how they differ: Northern European especially British sarcasm tends to be deadpan, Eastern European sarcasm is darker and absurd, while Southern European sarcasm is animated and expressive.
