The best thing about Harry Kane is that in an industry that churns out absolute wankers he is just a nice guy who loves his family, works hard at his job and is the best person he can be. Excellent role model.
🚨🚨🎙️| Harry Kane delivers an emotional tribute to his parents, wife and children after winning the 2026 Ballon d’Or! ❤️🏆 To his mum and dad: “What a moment. All those years, the sacrifice you gave me, the support you gave me, the times taking me to training, coming to watch me play, all around England, all around Germany, no matter where it was, even to this day you're there.” “There was never any pressure from you to become a footballer. It was always about working hard, it was always about improving, it was always about learning.” “I love you. Thank you very much.” To his children: “To Ivy, Vivian, Louis and Henry, you're the reason I do this.” “I want to set a good example, being a father, but also being a professional and what it means to work hard, what it means to believe in yourself. I love you very much.” To his wife Katie: “My best friend. We've been through ups and downs, for sure. You're my biggest supporter.” “Here it is. We've done it. You've always done the best for me. You sacrificed yourself to help me achieve my dreams.” “This is a trophy that we celebrate, not me. It's me and you. It's all the family.” “I love you.” ❤️

Would love someone to sit Cesar down, show him these clips and ask him what the fuck his thinking is, just choosing to give yourself no chance of controlling the game

We’re 4th because we’ve just got 7 pts from calamity Burnley in crisis, Portsmouth & a dreadful Watford. Let’s call this for what it is, dog shit coaching. Potato’s so lucky he has players that are too good for this league dragging him through games otherwise we’d be about 18th

I admitted last week that I’ve stopped enjoying Match of the Day. And this week’s programme illustrated exactly why. Just look at the way Mark Chapman opens the show. Flat. Lifeless. Almost uninterested. Football is about passion, enthusiasm, banter, anger, love, joy and despair. Yet the BBC has somehow managed to package its highlights into a programme almost entirely devoid of emotion. Chappers, as he’s affectionately known, comes across well on the radio. But on Match of the Day, he looks bored rigid. Like the last person on earth you’d want to sit down with for a conversation about football. To be fair, Steph Houghton and Martin Keown did a reasonable job. But as somebody pointed out in response to my previous post, where’s the humour? Where’s the fun? Where’s the sheer joy of football? Everything is so painfully serious. The pundits deliver their analysis within such tight parameters that the whole thing feels sterile. Bill Shankly famously said football wasn’t a matter of life and death. It was more important than that. But the real point is that people love football because it makes them feel alive. Watching Match of the Day these days is like observing a post-mortem conducted by a forensic pathologist who regretted his career choice years ago and is now just counting down the days until he can collect his pension. Surely, in the post-Lineker era, there must be a better way of presenting football highlights? Give us people who love the game. People who can laugh, joke, argue and get carried away. Give us proper analysis, certainly, but make it feel like the conversations we have with our mates down the pub. And for those chauvinistic throwbacks who complained about women presenting men’s football, let me say this: of Match of the Day’s three presenters, Chapman is comfortably the worst. Give me Kelly Cates or Gabby Logan any day of the week. Someone needs to have a word in Chappers’ ear. Tell him to bring some of his radio personality to the television studio. Because his dry, bored, dead-eyed delivery is sucking the life out of a programme devoted to a sport that should be anything but lifeless. Football is supposed to be fun. For God’s sake, can somebody tell Match of the Day?

Far left and migrant rioters in France rob and strip an old couple. If this doesn’t wake you up to the current threat in Europe and at home, nothing will. SCARY

Without X you would have no idea that France was being conquered by invaders. Mainstream media won’t cover it.

Scousers raising this flag, short memories Try telling that to supporters of Wimbledon, Coventry, Norwich or even Everton who had the best team in Europe in 85. All denied European football. Wimbledon might still be Wimbledon if theyd played in Europe, they were cheated.
