I saw Edward Waters asking for corners over 6 ft. Mind you Ponds is 5’9… If you a gangsta, you a gangsta.

Keionte Scott is a fun nickel to study.
Extremely disruptive at the LOS due to his speed, balance and competitive toughness. Has been playing at this level all season for Miami.

Trinidad Chambliss played DIVISION TWO football last season and has taken over the CFP game.
Stars don’t mean everything. This dude was the 60th ranked QB in the portal and has single handily got Ole Miss back in this game.

This is the SECRET to NIL and the transfer portal! Your school doesn’t need more money; your coaches SUCK at evaluating under the radar talent. So you get into bidding wars with 4 and 5 Star busts instead of getting Stephen Daley’s, D’Angelo Pond’s, Elijah Sarratt’s that no one wanted but will be making BIG NFL money.
How good is Curt Cignetti at evaluating talent?
These are all the JMU transfers to IU & how impactful they’ve been this season:
Elijah Surratt (WR)- 687 receiving yards, 12TDs, 13.5 YPC (was out for a month)
Kaelon Black (RB)- 799 rushing yards, 7TDs, 5.6 YPC
Aiden Fisher (LB)- 33 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2INTs
D’Angelo Ponds (CB) 31 solo tackles, INT, 7 PBUs
Tyrique Tucker (DL) 16 solo tackles & 5.5 sacks
+ multiple NFL guys from last season
Then this season out of the portal:
Stephen Daley (DL from Kent State )- 24 solo tackles, 5.5 sacks, 2 FFs
Devan Boykin (S NC State) 27 solo tackles, FF, 2 INTs, 5 PBUs
Fernando Mendoza (QB Cal) 2,980 passing yards, 33TDs, 88.5 QBR
Roman Hemby (RB Maryland) 918 rushing yards, 6TDs, 5.2 YPC
Riley Nowakowsi (TE Wisconsin) 316 receiving yards, 2TDs, 12.6 YPC
Cignetti has a roster full of guys he either recruited to JMU he liked that many other schools passed up or transfers that he noticed balled out on below average teams.
The Indiana Hoosiers are the #1 team in the country.
Create the documentary.

5’9 D’Angelo Ponds is one of the best corners I’ve watched all year.
Somewhere there’s a DB coach sick right now because his coordinator wouldn’t let him pull the trigger on him and forced the “safe” 6’2 corner who has no hips but he gotta get him right.
