No time like ASCO eve for an announcement. As of July 1, I will be joining the Perlmutter Cancer Center of NYU as the Associate Director for Clinical Research. I will continue my work in phase 1 trials as well as my focus on melanoma and skin cancer.

Golden hour on the last day before we head into the school year. Growing up, this day was always filled with a little bit of sadness as we headed away from the beach to go back home. Solver that problem by moving here. Now I get to welcome locals’ summer. Bring on September!

I strongly recommend supporting local musicians during spare time! I’ve watched this band grow up onstage, knowing most of the members since they were 14 or 15 (now in their 20s). Have met great people and visited great venues along the way. Music is community. @thestonepony

Finally in Naples to INNOVATE new neoadjuvant strategies for cancer therapy. After a long delay of five hours @united. At least I was stuck with @JeffGershenwald, laughs made the time go faster.
Had to scoop up a certain chemist from her summer lab job @NorthwesternU which led to us spending July 4th on @mackinacisle. Insanely beautiful, So many gorgeous areas of our country that I have yet to see. Happy 4th everyone.
Attention @SeaStreakFerry riders the 640 am boat is packed and festive. Seats will be at a premium and parking at Highlands especially packed. Enjoying the mood and glad I planned for the early boat! Get a ride to the ferry if you can.
Took a break from grant writing to be part of the 5K for Nicole’s Heart foundation. Kid #1 and I both finished third in our age groups.

Got my first ocean swim of 2026 in today and now sitting and reading during golden hour. When folks hear that I live a mile away from where I was born it doesn’t sound so exciting but it’s not so bad.
