So, this is a long time coming, but I haven't used Twitter for a while now, socials much in general, for my own peace of mind.
So, this account is done and I very rarely check it. To keep up with my audio work, I now have a Bluesky, at bsky.app/profile/playingwith…
It's been fun.

The long-awaited episode 8 of my podcast Playing With Form is now out!
This episode, "Know Your Limits" is now live on all #podcast apps. This one's about so many things, but the short answer is save points. Go listen, I put so much work into it.

PLAYING WITH FORM IS BACK!
Episode 7, "The Building Blocks of Life", is now live on all #podcast apps.
This one's about composition, plus my version of an essay review. And is it just me, or was 2007-2008 a suspiciously impactful 2 years for game design?

If you could though, please listen on a podcast app as well, any will do, and give the show a 5-star rating if you enjoyed. It'll help with discoverability. A written review would be even better, but whatever works.
Thanks for listening
Update for the few who don't read my social twitter. For a while now, covid adaptation, furloughs, moving, something resembling depression, and multiple unfortunate injuries, capping off currently with hand surgery, has really hampered my art, BUT...(continued in next tweet)
Another episode I put together for Northwestern Sound is out.

Your votes have been considered, and the deed is done. "A Story About A Story About A Tree" has been submitted to @ThirdCoastFest!
There's no separate category for informational nonfiction, so I entered under the New Artist award, since I do count as new for another year or so.
Thinking of submitting a Playing With Form episode for a Third Coast award. I’m torn between 5 or 6.
5’s got that human connection and more cultural relevance, 6 has my favorite editing and has the “audio vs visual” theme that radio folk like.
Any opinions?

I’ve got an idea, but with really personal stuff, I need to make sure to avoid both insensitivity and self-importance on my part.
Episode 6 of #PlayingWithForm is out, and it’s a wild one.
More sources, more sound, and more 🐗 than ever before.
I apologize for the hiatus. COVID has forced everyone to stop and refigure out their lives, and that includes me.
But Playing With Form shall not be stopped. Episode 6 is uploading as I type, and it's a fun one.
Apple Podcasts should update sometime tonight. Look forward to it!
Hey. I know I've been inactive for a bit, but last month has been a bit much, and this is not my primary gig, but I wanted to keep my few great fans up to date
Script/recording is done for PWF#6, will be editing the next few weeks. This time I'm going all in on crazy concepts :)
Another episode I edited for Northwestern Sound is out!
As a big fan of @TheTruthFiction, I had a lot of fun working on this one. Also, since I could use audio from the podcast, it gave me an excuse to marathon it as "research".
New #podcast episode!! Listen as Jonathan Mitchell, creator and producer of fiction podcast @TheTruthFiction, talks about the evolution of the show’s production and the state of #audiofiction: soundcloud.com/northwestern-… @yourpaljonathan
Episode 5 of #PlayingWithForm has arrived!
We're temporarily leaving the safety of the screen and venturing into the dense jungle of the internet, and the denser one of human emotion.
Featuring clips from @ImaginWorldsPod.
Thanks a ton to @emolinsky for letting me use them.
Here's the link as always.

If you liked it, please give a nice rating on your podcast app, tell friends irl or here on twitter, etc.
The algorithm still doesn't like me, so help spreading the word is very much needed.
Thanks to everyone who listens <3
After too many rewrites, rerecords and crazy ideas that ended up sounding stupid, episode 5 of #PlayingWithForm is in a place I’m very happy with.
Doing a final levels tweak after work tonight. Expect an update on your podcast app shortly after that :)
