BREAKING: President Biden shocks the world as his Secretary of State Anthony Blinken holds a historic diplomatic meeting in Beijing with Chinese President Xi Jinpiing — the highest-level meeting on Chinese soil since Biden took office. The two met to discuss repairing some of the damage between the two nuclear-armed superpowers and reportedly made tangible "progress" on some real issues. Relations between the two countries have become increasingly strained in recent years as China jockeys to become the world's preeminent superpower, oppresses its people through authoritarian policies, carries out genocide in the Xinjiang region, and eyes a possible invasion of Taiwan.
