Not shocked by Dave Chappelle & others exposing thoughts they’d temporarily concealed… More shocked yall forgot they were merely biding their time until they got into power

And Charlie is on record standing up for Dave over that attempt…
The ridiculousness of Dave Chappelle’s Charlie Kirk comments is that he himself was (attempted) attacked by an LGBT zealot. …same motive of Charlie’s assassin. Talk about “there but for the Grace of God”. It may just be the most classless comedy bit I’ve seen and fully detached from a reality he himself almost experienced. Very disappointing.

By refusing to charge the armed maniac who attacked Dave Chappelle on stage, George Gascon is sending a clear message that public acts of political violence are justifiable—and even encouraged—against anyone who dares speak out against The Regime. It’s Sinister & Un-American.

COFFIN CORNER FLYING: Most posts about it are wrong. It’s NOT where the stall speed and the Mmo meet: In the 737, I don’t go near the coffin corner, meaning I don’t go to the highest altitude the jet can fly, unless it’s known to be smooth there AND I have a good reason to do so. The coffin corner is not about the stall speed but about the speed where drag increases as the plane slows, while maintaining altitude. Sidebar: When stalled at altitude, the 737 is docile. It doesn’t do anything at all really except lose altitude. But the buffeting is violent. Many years ago, the FAA required that the simulators create the actual intensity of the buffeting we can expect. Initially, our simulators were getting damaged from that buffeting. So the simulators were modified to be strong enough for it. Back to the coffins corner: The minimum speed in the coffin corner is not actually near the stall speed. If it was, we would be “behind the power curve”, wasting fuel as the engines would be near full power. And at that coffin corner, the engines really are at their max power already, so a stall would mean that there’s no power reserve to escape the stall. The nose must be lowered to gain speed by giving up altitude. So being at the minimum speed means that to be below it, the jet can’t maintain altitude. The engines only put out MAYBE 10% of the power they have at sea level. That’s the danger of being in the coffin corner when the air isn’t smooth: anything that causes a loss of airspeed, like turbulence can. In the 737, exceeding Mmo is much easier to deal with than flying too slow, even a little. We just deploy the speed brakes a bit while leaving the power alone. There’s little to be gained, if anything, flying the coffin corner. It may get a more direct flight route, especially for private jets. Airliners can’t fly as high as them. That’s it. But even flying 2000’ lower opens the coffin corner considerably. And I wouldn’t want to fly above FL410 because one pilot would have to be using the oxygen mask the entire time. Hell no, plus the oxygen bottle would need servicing. The coffin corner graphic here is WRONG. A plane CAN’T be at the stall speed AND the Mmo at the same time. Impossible. Below L/D speed, drag increases. In the coffin corner, the plane is at L/D speed or close to it. Go faster and drag increases. Go slower and drag increases. Being level near the stall speed is a HIGH DRAG maneuver. The minimum speed at the coffin corner is the lowest drag speed or close to it.

Thank you for not dancing on graves. There are people here reading these things that knew one of these pilots. I am among those people. We fully understand that the people we know and love will likely be found to have made human judgment errors when the NTSB report is finalized. We get it and we take no comfort or solace in this. We feel this tragedy and in a nuanced way that others cannot. I wish we could ask for some grace and kindness until our loved one is buried, but we have no body to bury. And we grieve. For all on board. So I just want to say thank you for not dancing on graves and for being as straightforward and respectful as possible. It means more than you know. I hope that all pilots and flight attendants have the hard “what if” conversations with their loved ones. No one ever wants it to end this way.

BREAKING: Arizona Democrats win control of the state House, Senate and governor’s office for the first time since 1966, per the AP. Gov. Katie Hobbs won reelection, and Democrats flipped both chambers of the Legislature. Republicans had controlled the House for 60 years and the Senate since the early 1990s. Hobbs vetoed more than 540 bills from the Republican-led Legislature in her first term, on taxes, immigration and voting. With a Democratic Legislature, she’s pledged to focus on water, affordability, and fraud and abuse in the state’s school voucher program. Arizona is one of at least six states where Democrats now hold full control, along with Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Wisconsin.

Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison. Her clients are in office. Her clients are on television telling you who to vote for. Her clients are at international summits setting global economic policy. Her clients are on the boards of the foundations that fund the NGOs that tell you what social progress looks like. Her clients are in the intelligence community. Her clients are in finance. Her clients are in media. Her clients are in academia. Her clients are in both political parties of every major Western nation where the operation reached. We know this. The flight logs are public. The visitor logs to Epstein's properties have been partially released. Investigative journalists have spent years documenting the network. And virtually none of the clients face any legal consequence. Because, and this is the part that should make you stop and feel the full weight of what it means, the legal consequence would have to be imposed by institutions staffed by people who are themselves part of the network, or who serve at the pleasure of people who are, or who depend for their careers on a media environment run by people who are. The accountability mechanism has been captured by the people who would be held accountable. This is not speculation. This is the documented, structural reality of why the Epstein network was never fully prosecuted, why the full client list was never released, why the judges who sealed documents sealed them, why the prosecutors who offered the original sweetheart deal offered it. The system protected itself because the system and the network are not separate things. They are the same thing. And they are still running.

The 🇺🇸 IRS just released the new tax brackets for 2027 Single filers (2026 in parentheses): 10%: $12,800 or less ($12,400) 12%: over $12,800 ($12,400) 22%: over $52,025 ($50,400) 24%: over $109,125 ($105,700) 32%: over $208,325 ($201,775) 35%: over $264,550 ($256,225) 37%: over $661,375 ($640,600) Married filing jointly (2026 in parentheses): 10%: $25,600 or less ($24,800) 12%: over $25,600 ($24,800) 22%: over $104,050 ($100,800) 24%: over $218,250 ($211,400) 32%: over $416,650 ($403,550) 35%: over $529,100 ($512,450) 37%: over $793,650 ($768,700)
THE IRS JUST RELEASED THE NEW 2027 🇺🇸 TAX BRACKETS. HERE'S HOW THEY WORK IN PLAIN ENGLISH Every bracket got a little bigger to keep up with inflation, so you can earn a bit more before moving into a higher rate. Step 1: Take what you earn and subtract the standard deduction. That part isn't taxed at all. - Single: $16,600 - Married: $33,200 Step 2: Whatever's left gets taxed in layers. Single filers: - 10% on your first $12,800 - 12% on income up to $52,025 - 22% up to $109,125 - 24% up to $208,325 - 32% up to $264,550 - 35% up to $661,375 - 37% on anything above that Married couples: the cutoffs are roughly double ($25,600, $104,050, $218,250, $416,650, $529,100, $793,650). Example: You're single and earn $76,600. Subtract $16,600 and you're taxed on $60,000. - 10% on the first $12,800 = $1,280 - 12% on the next $39,225 = $4,707 - 22% on the last $7,975 = $1,755 Total: about $7,742 in federal income tax, or roughly 10% of what you earned. Even though you're "in" the 22% bracket, only your last $7,975 gets taxed at 22%.

When I was 23 flying the Lear 25, we were approaching at midnight a field with a 5000’ runway when a cold front was passing through. The captain wasn’t one of our regulars at Hop-A-Jet, but hired for this flight. Instead of flying the published procedure turn, he invented his own and ended up intercepting the localizer very close to the final approach fix. We were also above glideslope. We were IMC the whole time. It was very gusty. He had tunnel vision trying to capture the glideslope from above and I envisioned if I didn’t say anything, he would land fast and overrun the end of the runway. So I told him to “go-around”. He didn’t respond. Then I screamed, “GO AROUND!!”! He snapped out of his funk, went around and we diverted to Fort Wayne. The passengers pulled me aside later and thanked me for doing that. I had maybe 100 hours in Learjets and this was the first time I was a copilot. So I had 100 hours of copilot time. Part 121 airline flying isn’t like this at all. Winging it gets the pilot in trouble. And it’s company policy that if any pilot calls the go around, the flying pilot goes around, unless the captain deems landing to be safer. With the PrimeAir tragedy in Miami, the copilot should’ve called the go around, and if the captain didn’t, he should taken the controls and gone around. But Colombians are raised to yield to authority and the captain is that authority.

Nobody knows if the copilot did everything correctly, but many keep reflexively saying it. We know *they* flew into a storm they shouldn’t have, and it cost nine lives. Tragic I’m not here to dance on her grave, or tell you young people or females can’t fly. She sounded accomplished for her age. It doesn’t mean she should have been in that role. It doesn’t mean there isn’t risk with a newly typed pilot in any aircraft. I don’t care who the pilot is, it takes a lot of time in type to be safe & competent in it. Despite what some pilots seem to believe, it’s not a role merely for time building & being a basic assistant to PIC. Maybe 135 needs revision, maybe we just continue accepting the risk…but don’t pretend it doesn’t exist. A dual pilot aircraft has important duties and responsibilities for BOTH crew members due to complexity, size, and workload. It’s why it gets certified by FAA as dual pilot, and it requires a type rating for both pilots. One of the priorities for the copilot, during an emergency, is to ensure all emergency procedures are properly carried out, reviewing the EP checklist. It is possible they did everything they could do, and she had extra bandwidth to additionally handle the radio…it’s possible she neglected her duties responding to the emergency and spent precious time on the radio. It’s possible they accurately determined, early, that it was unrecoverable, and all they could do was pray & make radio calls to narrate what was happening. We, you, don’t know. BEFORE the emergency, cross checking instruments, monitoring weather & fuel, ensuring the pilot on the controls doesn’t exceed any limits, watching for hazards, etc…things were missed, or we would not be talking about this Some of y’all are truly denigrating the role, and work it takes to be a competent copilot. Yes, PIC has override authority, but that doesn’t mean the workload isn’t split between them. She not only had the minimum requirement of SIC type rating, she actually had a PIC type rating with limitations. This means she was certified/expected to know that aircraft at a higher level than what is required for a second in command. I’ve been in emergencies. I’ve been in storms. I’ve had my butthole puckering and life flash before my eyes. No PIC in a dual pilot aircraft is handling that themselves. I’d corrected PICs, as a junior pilot, on several occasions. Some instances resulted in shouting. It’s not a place to be timid. The aircraft, conditions, people, hazards, and even other pilots are trying to kill you. I don’t post on this stuff because I enjoy the harassment. I actually want my profession to improve. This seemed avoidable. We should be looking for lessons learned.
Replying to @denjohnbryan
Once they were in it, talking on the radio should've been the absolute LAST priority. Her entire focus should be on doing anything necessary to assist the captain in regaining control of the aircraft, including: verify the overspeed recovery checklist memory items are completed

This is relative to the Lear 60 crash near Palm Beach the other day. Both pilots needs to be cross checking each others thinking and actions, and discuss disagreements. But, IMO, the young copilot was too inexperienced with that jet and jet flying in particular to spot errors in judgment and technique of her captain.
