This scene is no doubt being replicated in corporate offices across America as we speak. Love it. 😂😂

A whole decade of everything.
At some point the realization sets in that it wasn’t one thing - it was everything.

All this "transplants flipped Texas" stuff is serious cope. Ted Cruz is Canadian. Ken Paxton is from North Dakota. Dan Patrick is from Baltimore. Elon Musk is from South Africa. Joe Rogan is from Jersey. Talarico: Native Texan. Ginajosa: Native Texan. As of 2023, the percentage of citizens living in Texas who were born there is actually higher than the national average. It's not even top 25 in percentage of transplants.

No one will be pining for higher gas, a dumb war in Iran, supporting Putin, unprecedented corruption, higher health care, higher food prices. No one.
Sanders on Texas: I think there’s going to be a lot of buyer’s remorse. If you don't believe me, just look at what's happened in places like California where they have broken economies. I think in January you're going to have a lot of people who wish they had elected the freedom-loving/Christ-centered people that you had like Governor Abbott who were leading the state of Texas.

Yes to this. Democrats are the only party that can actually govern. But many voters seem to never recognize the pattern - Rs mess things up, Dems put it all back together, Rs promise the moon and the cycle begins anew.
Mamdani getting elected and spending a year on extremely popular projects helped Dems everywhere imo. He was supposed to be on the new Mount Rushmore of scary liberals. Saw him on lots of attack mailers. Didn't scare people at all. When I sat down w Mamdani during the 2025 primary he said his model was Bernie in Burlington - the "ooh, scary socialist" mayor who capitalizes on all the attention he gets and makes civic improvements so it stops being scary. And so far that's clearly worked. semafor.com/article/06/12/20…

I’d add anywhere the Final Four is being played. 😀
Replying to @John_Fanta
Let's be honest John UCONN has 4 home arenas. Gampel, Hartford, MSG, and Boston

‘Did nothing’ or profited in some way? Trump always gets a cut.
This is an astonishing policy failure in managing chips crucial to national security and our economic future -- because the administration knew what was going on and did nothing.

Somewhat surprisingly small gains with rural and non college.
Republicans lost ground with every group Trump won in 2024, except white evangelicals.

Pretty sick that UConn can fully fill an NBA arena in another state (admittedly next door to their actual state) for an early season non-conference hoops game

Hard to believe these independents weren’t persuaded by all of Trump’s Husted’s ass and ballroom talk.
How did Independents vote in the nation's most competitive races? The @CNN exit polls are jaw-dropping... 🔵 Talarico: 74% 🔴 Paxton: 16% 🔵 Ossoff: 72% 🔴 Collins: 22% 🔵 Cooper: 67% 🔴 Whatley: 26% 🔵 Hamilton: 64% 🔴 Marshall: 31% 🔵 Andrews: 69% 🔴 Graham: 17% 🔵 Turek: 66% 🔴 Hinson: 23%

The exit polls indicate that the 2026 electorate was 73 percent white, 9 percent black, 10 percent Latino, 4 percent Asian, and 5 percent identifying as “other.” Throw away that “changing demographics mean Republicans can’t win” crap. In terms of demographics, this isn’t that different a country than it was two years ago, when Republicans were winning the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives. And nationally, the electorate was almost three-quarters white! The GOP wipeout was not because minorities and immigrants flooded the polls. It was because just about every demographic, including whites, wasn’t happy with the past two years of Republican governance.

Thanks to the voters, no. We don’t have to ask if we still have a democracy in CT.
You have to ask yourself, do we still have a democracy in Connecticut?

Ironically, had the polls been ‘more accurate’ the Dems would’ve invested in FLA and we’d have even more Dems tonight.
We all need to sit in awe of some of these margins. NC: Cooper +19.6 GA: Ossoff +18.0 NH: Pappas +14.3 TX: Talarico +12.3 MN: Flanagan +10.1 ME: Jackson +7.7 MI: El-Sayed +7.0 OH: Brown +4.8 KS: Hamilton +4.8 SC: Andrews +4.4 IA: Turek +4.1 MS: EVEN
