“South Africans have a right to protest." March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma says instead of interdicting only the movement from protesting, the government should also interdict everyone, including foreign nationals accused of peddling drugs. She says the government is only shutting down one voice.

March and March is no longer about marching against illegal immigration. It is a third force destabilisation wave which must be nipped in the bud. Afri-Forum said there is genocide in this country when there was none, these vigilantes want blood to spill. Who is funding them?

ARRESTED | Prompt investigation by members from Eldorado Park Crime Intelligence, Detectives and Visible Policing (VISPOL) have led to the arrest of five suspects in connection with an armed robbery targeting an e-hailing driver in Eldorado Park Extension 7.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, at approximately 11:00. The 20-year-old, e-hailing driver, operating a white Toyota Etios, responded to a ride request to pick up a passenger on Maine Street.
Upon arrival, a female suspect signaled the driver and entered the front passenger seat, instructing him to wait for her brothers. Two male suspects subsequently joined them.
Shortly after the second male entered, one suspect engaged the vehicle’s handbrake while the group forcibly robbed the driver of an undisclosed amount of cash, his driver’s licence, identity document, and bank cards. During the incident, a fourth suspect standing outside the vehicle reportedly fired a gunshot and demanded the driver's mobile phone. The suspects subsequently fled the scene without taking the phone. No injuries reported.
Following up on operational information, the officers managed to arrest five suspects aged between 15 and 21. All suspects are expected to appear before court soon on charges related to armed robbery and firearm offences.

FAMILY OF CHICAGO WOMAN IMPRISONED IN CHINA PLEA FOR HER RELEASE
The family of Dawn Michelle Hunt, a 55-year-old Chicago native who has been incarcerated in China for 12 years, is making an urgent public appeal for her freedom.
The Background: Hunt, a former flight attendant, was arrested in 2014 during a stopover in Guangzhou after being tricked by a fraudulent sweepstakes scam. Unbeknownst to her, methamphetamines had been sewn into the linings of purses she received as prizes.
Current Status: She is currently serving a life sentence at the Guangdong Women's Prison.
The Diplomatic Push: Her brother, Tim Hunt, and other advocates are calling on President Donald Trump to directly press Chinese leader Xi Jinping for her release on humanitarian grounds during their bilateral summit in Washington this week.
Urgent Medical Concerns: The family notes that Hunt's health is rapidly declining, as she has developed tumors that require an operation she refuses to undergo while imprisoned.
The Hunts are working alongside the family of Nelson Wells Jr., another detained American, hoping high-level diplomatic intervention will finally bring their loved ones home.
