In case it wasn’t already obvious: being nice to Putin hasn’t achieved peace. And it never will.
Luckily there is at least one easy option that stops Russia’s ballistic missiles from killing civilians and destroying power grids. Starlink.
Ukrainian drones can destroy the launchers, but need access to Starlink over Russian territory to navigate effectively.
This would cost American taxpayers nothing. It would save lives. And it would put real pressure on Putin.

Pax Americana is the relative peace that has existed in the world since the end of World War II, and it resulted from American leadership in the free world predicated upon human dignity and national sovereignty.
Jettisoning the principles of human dignity and national sovereignty in favor of the appeasement of warlords will upend the long peace and invite circumstances which will quickly escalate into wars and rumors of wars across the globe.
We should be supporting the victim, not the aggressor, in this conflict. Putin will not stop with Ukraine and is already threatening some of our NATO allies.
The reason we have had relative peace in Europe since World War II is because of the alliance between the U.S. and our European allies. Anything we do to undermine or degrade that alliance would be a big mistake.

Cornyn on Starlink being throttled in Ukraine: "I don't believe that Elon Musk would do this without at least the acquiescence of the White House. I think it's frankly shameful. I think we should be supporting the victim, not the aggressor."

- Putin is a war criminal. The Russians commit war crimes as a matter of course and the fact that they abducted our fellow citizen and sent him to a penal colony notorious for abuse is more evidence.
- Russia wants to push two narratives: that it is reasonable and that its military success is inevitable. Both are false.

It's been interesting to see how Brian Kilmeade has become a voice of reason—and reality—on Ukraine at Fox.

If the president wants to negotiate to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, then the U.S. should be meeting with Europeans + Ukraine to compel Russia to stop.
