The people pretending conversations about Ryan Day aren’t warranted are just as ridiculous as the people claiming he’s a horrible football coach. Both things can be true. Day is a good coach, and he absolutely deserves criticism for what we’re seeing on the field. The standard at Ohio State is higher than this, and what we’ve watched this season is not Buckeye football. I’ll leave it at that.

It is quite liberating to completely ignore the CFP rankings. They are such garbage that it would be a waste of brain cells to comprehend the utter inconsiStEnCies riddled within. It's a total mystery how they Solved Every Championship scenario.

Talked about my 80% résumé (SOR, Résumé SP+), 20% quality (SP+, FPI) computer rankings mix in the Sunday column. The CFP committee is FAR more skewed toward the SEC than the computers. 2.6 spots per team, on average. Good lord.
