The people pretending conversations about Ryan Day aren’t warranted are just as ridiculous as the people claiming he’s a horrible football coach. Both things can be true. Day is a good coach, and he absolutely deserves criticism for what we’re seeing on the field. The standard at Ohio State is higher than this, and what we’ve watched this season is not Buckeye football. I’ll leave it at that.

Talked about my 80% résumé (SOR, Résumé SP+), 20% quality (SP+, FPI) computer rankings mix in the Sunday column. The CFP committee is FAR more skewed toward the SEC than the computers. 2.6 spots per team, on average. Good lord.

At the end of regulation in BYU/UCF, there should not have been a 10-second runoff. The clock stopping for the helmet off was not the only reason it stopped. It also stopped because it was the end of a legal kick down.
