βWill You Procreate!?β β A Television Game Show Produced by Chicago Mayoral Candidate John Kitover
From the streets of Jefferson Park to the halls of The Citadel and the server rooms of the tech giants, John Kitover has carried one consistent conviction: a free people grow their way out of crisis through Wisdom, Love, Law, Joy, Strength, and Intelligence. Debt cannot be borrowed away. Crime cannot be βrestoredβ away. A city that refuses to form and protect families will not remain a city. Will You Procreate!? is the television expression of that conviction.
The half-hour prime-time game show pits three heterosexual couples (or one single man and one single woman matched by the producers after rigorous screening for health, character, and stated intention) against a series of practical, humorous, and occasionally ruthless challenges designed to test whether they are ready to bring new Americans into the world. Hosted by a Citadel-educated veteran and a no-nonsense mother of four, the program rejects the modern entertainment formula of ironic detachment and βchosen familyβ platitudes. Contestants are asked, repeatedly and without euphemism: Will you procreate?
Rounds include:
The Nursery Budget Drill, in which couples must allocate a realistic Chicago household income after the 50 percent property-tax cut Kitover has pledged, covering formula, daycare alternatives, and a modest savings cushion while still paying the mortgage.
The Pediatric Knowledge Gauntlet, covering basic infant care, vaccine schedules as they actually exist, and the long-term costs of chronic disease.
The Neighborhood Reality Check, in which contestants tour actual Chicago blocksβsafe ones and unsafe onesβand must articulate a concrete plan for raising children under the rule of law rather than under restorative-justice slogans.
The Intergenerational Interview, featuring grandparents who raised large families on far less, asking the young contestants what, exactly, they are waiting for.
Winners do not receive a luxury vacation or a new car. They receive a substantial cash grant earmarked for a down payment or a year of living expenses, a package of basic baby gear, and a public commitment ceremony on the studio stage. The couple that demonstrates the clearest combination of biological readiness, fiscal realism, and moral seriousness takes home the grand prize and the title βParents of Chicago.β Runners-up receive smaller grants and referrals to the cityβs existing (and, under a Kitover administration, dramatically streamlined) family-support resources.
The show is explicitly pro-natal. It does not treat abortion as healthcare, does not celebrate permanent medical interventions on minors, and does not pretend that open borders and sanctuary policies have no effect on the capacity of working families to house and educate their own children. It assumes that the future of Chicago belongs to the people who live here, own property here, pay the bills, and intend to raise the next generation here. Viewers at home are invited to text their own answers to the title question; the results are displayed in real time and become part of the closing segment.
Kitover has described the program as βpatriotic entertainment with a purpose.β In an era when birth rates have collapsed and political machines treat taxpayers as an endless revenue stream, Will You Procreate!? asks the most practical question available to a free people: Are you prepared to build the next generation, or will you continue to borrow against it? The answer, the candidate insists, will determine whether Chicago remains a living city or becomes a museum of past prosperity. On February 23, 2027, voters will decide who governs. The show asks a more fundamental question that every household must answer for itself. β at Harwood Heights, IL

Public data does not disclose an exact total amount Tempus AI has billed Medicare or Medicaid for its genomic sequencing and AI-enabled precision oncology tests.
In 2025 filings, Medicare accounted for ~26% of clinical oncology test volume (and ~10% of hereditary). Diagnostics revenue reached $955M (mostly clinical orders billed to payers including Medicare/Medicaid), with average oncology reimbursement ~$1,600 per test. Revenue is recognized net of estimated collections (~55% overall payment rate).
Future Medicare projections for specific assays have been discussed in the $80-400M range by management, but historical billed totals are not broken out.
