During my residency, I often spoke with med students and fellow trainees who felt uncertain about which specialty best matched their interests, values, and long-term goals. Physician burnout is at an all-time high, and choosing the right career path is important now more than ever.
Those conversations inspired DocDirection, an early-stage prototype we built on a basic algorithm. It’s far from polished or final, but consider it a digital nudge for helping medical students and trainees begin exploring specialties that align with who they are.
The vision is to help shape DocDirection into a personalized AI coach - a one-stop shop that supports decision-making, well-being, and meaningful career development.

AF recurrence rates post-ablation are higher in HF patients, especially HFpEF. However, ablation significantly reduces AF symptoms and hospitalizations across all HF subtypes. @arwayounis2 @DrJustinZLee @ahelhajjar @ChadI_97EP #AHAJournals #Epeeps doi.org/10.1161/CIRCEP.124.0…

Love it!
It’s a major decision in my #Leadership of the @CCF_IMCHIEFS #IMRP about which books to give to our new chiefs and rising chiefs to set the theme for the year. This year was easy. For the new chiefs @Schwarzenegger is the winner with a continued nod to #Frankl for the rising group. I think the man on the left would approve of the other and #viceversa! Would love to meet him someday (perhaps at Graduation 2025?)! #BeUseful #LoveOthers #Meaning
