Here is the "Doonesbury" cartoon that Gannett removed from ALL of their newspapers this past Sunday. That's almost 400 news papers including USA Today. dailycartoonist.com/index.ph…

Gannett did not remove this strip in particular. It had already removed Doonesbury from the list of comic strips available to newspapers in the chain. cbr.com/doonesbury-com…

I wanted to take a day to mull how I felt about the recent golf news before I wrote about it, and where I landed was how The Disease of More has helped golf untether itself from its niche reality. @NoLayingUp nolayingup.com/blog/the-dise…
The Disease of More

The Disease of More

With the partnership of the PGA Tour and PIF, the Disease of More has officially afflicted all of golf. Is there an antidote?

There were nine Northern Irishmen on the putting green at the PGA Championship this afternoon, which is usually sufficient to form about 50 splinter organizations.

Chow Hang-tung’s speech takes no prisoner and as an eloquent barrister, her words are as straightforward as they come. She’s receiving a small sentence (3.5 months) on what are bad faith charges (refusing to help the police investigate their claim of being a foreign agent).

Note to all "Tier 2" Unions. If you buy "Tier 1" blazers telling you they will make up for forever shutting you out from the sport's major mid-RWC competitions with a vague promise of more July/November games. You are a total moron who dooms your nation to eternal mediocrity.

US (@USARugby) coach Mike Friday (@MikeFriday09) is under no illusions as to the size of the task that awaits his young squad at this year's Hong Kong Sevens. A "baptism by fire" is how he put it. 🇺🇸 face 🇪🇸 in Pool C on Friday night. #HK7s scmp.com/sport/rugby/hk-seve…

Injury-plagued USA ‘face baptism by fire’ at Hong Kong Sevens, coach Friday says

USA captain Perry Baker is ‘excited’ despite depleted squad, which features four debutants – ’the young guys always bring that hunger, and they have that edge,’ he says.
