Abusive families target the one who sees clearly and speaks up. Not because you are defective in any way, but because you are a *witness*.

If someone looks calm and the other one looks ‘insane’, it’s usually the calm one who is at fault. Ask yourself what they did or are doing behind the scenes.

Malignant narcissists often attack people for the very things that deserve pride. That's a deliberate pattern, and it has a mechanism behind it. A person with this pathology has no stable internal sense of worth. Their self-image depends on being superior to others and on getting supply from them. When they run into someone with real strengths (competence, integrity, kindness, confidence), it exposes what they lack. They can't admit envy, so it turns into contempt. The strength gets relabeled as a flaw: confidence becomes arrogance, empathy becomes weakness, boundaries become abuse, achievement becomes showing off. The attack has three functions. It makes the contrast disappear by getting you to hide or disown the quality. It cuts your self-worth loose from your actual traits and ties it to their approval, which makes you easier to control. And it moves their own shame onto you. What they can't carry (inadequacy, emptiness) gets handed to you. The malignant subtype adds sadism: they enjoy the shame reaction itself. That's why the attacks often intensify when you visibly care about the thing they're targeting. It does the most damage in childhood. A child shamed for their strengths often becomes an adult who flinches at praise.

Have you ever tried mirroring a narcissist’s behaviors back at them to try to show them how inappropriate their behavior is only for them to completely miss the point of self-reflection and accuse you of being abusive for doing the exact same thing they did to you first?

Victims of abuse usually end up not being likable after they escape the abuse, or are still in it because trauma makes you unlikable, it makes you mentally unstable. It is TRUAMA. Being a long term abuser makes it easier for the abuser to appear “normal”. They know the game, they know how to pretend and appear “calm” while their victims look like “crashouts” due to the harm inflicted onto them. Idk why this is rocket science to people.

Those predators who look for vulnerable people to mimic and feed on for narcissistic supply while they smear campaign them to try to destroy the original, I think these are real vampires. These people must be what the idea of vampires was created after. They’re afraid of the light. They can’t see their own image. They feed off of people because they literally need other people‘s persona.

If you've survived narcissistic abuse, you've survived one of the biggest forms of trauma known to mankind. Be kind to yourself. 🙏🏼

Neurodivergent people have the most dysregulated nervous systems when they are trying to convince others that what they're seeing and experiencing is real and important, and the other person is gaslighting them into thinking that they re overreacting

The feeling of KNOWING so clearly that someone is a manipulative, deceitful, abusive narcissist and seeing them fool crowds of people is one of the most frustrating and isolating things a person can experience

As a neurodivergent person, I do NOT believe in social hierarchy. We are all just regular degular humans. The only thing impressive is how you treat others

EMOTIONS YOU MUST NOT SHOW TO A NARCISSIST - Fear: they feed on it. - Desperation: it makes you their puppet. - Hurt: it validates their power. - Jealousy: it's their favorite game. - Helplessness: it invites domination. - Over-Explaining: it signals weakness. - Rage: they'll flip it and blame you. - Attachment: they weaponize it. The safest emotions to show a narcissist? Calm. Neutrality. Unbothered energy.

Narcissists often use withholding tactics to assert control. By withholding important things, necessities or information, they create a power dynamic where they appear as the one in control. When you ask for what you need, they might portray you as the demanding one, flipping the situation to maintain their dominance and avoid responsibility.

Out of everyone who has lost, I am most elated Vivek Ramaswamy lost. He deserves nothing but a loss after demonstrating sickening cruelty. May he forever be consigned to the dustbin of history. Equally, I am so elated about Amy Acton, a decent and good human, winning.

Another outcome I love about tonight — billionaires who thought they could buy election outcomes are being repudiated by American voters.

Mental health professionals who work with youth have both the ability and the incentive to engage in epistemic violence, that is, re-categorizing how they’ve destroyed the nervous system of the youth as an underlying biological defect.
