Harrison Butker's 15 missed kicks (10 FGs, 5 PATs) since start of last season are the most in NFL.

Chiefs offense looking like 2025 but this receiver group might be the worst of all time. Veach has to do something to get 15 weapons. This is disgusting.

Three third-and-9 plays in the first half for the Seahawks offense, and they have converted all three of them. The Chiefs blitz got no where near Sam Darnold on any of them. Yikes.

This whole Josh Simmons situation has seemed strange to me since last season. I never want to question another man's medical situation, but anybody who's played this game knows there's a difference between being hurt and being injured. Playing through discomfort comes with the territory. That's just the reality of football. I'm not saying that's his situation, but something about how all of this has unfolded just hasn't added up to me. As far as people criticizing the local media for not breaking this story first, I think they're looking at it wrong. My suspicion is that somebody high up in the Chiefs organization intentionally leaked this to national media. Local reporters likely had their suspicions but couldn't get confirmation, so they did what responsible journalists are supposed to do. They didn't run with an unconfirmed story. The Chiefs don't typically operate like this, which makes the timing and who received the information even more interesting. To me, this feels less like a leak and more like a message being sent. And I don't think that part should be overlooked.
Terez Paylor crawled so guys like Nate Taylor could get to ESPN and do pods with Josh Briscoe where they spend 25 minutes discussing how Briscoe’s mom is hot and we are shocked that the local coverage offers nothing of value.

My mentions are open for apologies for all the people angrily telling me I was wrong to suggest the story we were told Wednesday/Thursday smelled fishy. Yes, there’s way more going on than the nice and tidy “simple” medical story they told us.

My comments in yesterday’s OWG podcast included inaccurate information. After chats with those with knowledge of the situation, I was wrong to say that Trey Smith’s quotes after yesterday’s practice were in any way directed toward Josh Simmons. My apologies to Trey & everyone.

From @NFLGameDay Kickoff with @RapSheet on a frustrating week for #Chiefs LT Josh Simmons, the #Rams’ confidence Puka Nacua will play, Baker Mayfield’s return for the #Buccaneers and Lamar Jackson on the verge of a return, just not today.

Davis Webb, who is really respected in the NFL, commits to the team when he could’ve gone elsewhere. Tries to put his spin on an offense. Gets four weeks. And then gets under cut in every single way. What a ringing endorsement for the head coach.
Per @JayGlazer, the #Broncos changed their offensive terminology when Davis Webb became OC in the offseason. When Sean Payton took play-calling duties back from Webb, he switched it back to his terminology. All the changing verbiage has played a role in Bo Nix’s struggles. Payton is confident Nix will be fine.

Sam Darnold is playing like Sam Darnold again. But not the Sam Darnold that turned into Sam Darnold, the Sam Darnold before Sam Darnold.
