After a spectacular 3 years, my time at Boston 25 has come to an end. Many of you already know, but my last day on air was earlier this month.
I’ll keep this brief, but I have to say what an honor it has been to do what I love right here at home. I was able to work with an incredible group of people, many of whom I looked up to growing up! These years have been a dream come true.
There will be more to come from me soon. In the meantime, I’ll still be right here talking weather with you!

Before he was a broadcast meteorologist, @wnywxguy was a BHO volunteer.
In the late 1990s, he even hiked up Great Blue Hill after a major snowstorm to help ensure the morning observation could be made and the record continued.
Today, he's helping us #SaveTheRecord

You can build telescopes.
You can build computer programs.
You can build laboratories.
But you can't recreate 141 years of weather records.

🌪️ I'd be surprised if there aren't a few tornado warnings in New England today, but don't expect anything close to an outbreak.
Hodographs (atmospheric spin) are as potent as the region has seen in recent years, but instability is modest.
Any storm that becomes established will have a chance to produce a tornado, but that number should be kept in check. Main timeframe is 1-8 PM.
