Talarico’s record is his worst enemy. His biggest problem is that he can’t explain it away without losing his far-left base.

I’m pro candy corn. I know that’s not a popular position, but that’s where I stand. And for the record, since it’s about that time of year…I’m pro eggnog too.

ICE announces an average of 100 arrests per day. This is why we need to lock in and get to the polls. A Democrats Congress will work overtime to stop this critical work.

When it comes to the Texas Senate race you have two options: Talarico, who's funded by Silicon Valley and an Epstein-ally, or Paxton, who actually fought Big Tech and won. Be honest: Does anyone — Republican or Democrat — actually like Big Tech, Big Pharma and all the big corporations vying for power in Washington? Because Paxton is the only candidate in this race who has actually fought them instead of just collecting their checks. And the big tech guy supporting Paxton — Elon Musk — is a Texas-based innovator disrupting everyone else’s status quo. Paxton doesn’t suck up to those tech giants. He sues them. He took on Meta and secured a $1.4 billion settlement over the company’s use of facial recognition software on Texans’ photos without proper consent — the largest settlement ever obtained from an action brought by a single state. He landed a $1.375 billion privacy settlement with Google over tracking location data, biometrics and other personal information. He’s gone after Netflix for collecting and monetizing viewing data (including from kids’ profiles) after years of public claims that the company wasn’t in the data business. He’s sued Discord over deceptive practices that, among other things, made it easier for predators to reach minors. We’re talking about actual lawsuits and actual money recovered for the state. Even the Democratic nominee to replace him as attorney general, state Sen. Nathan Johnson, has said Paxton’s campaign against Big Tech is one part of the record worth keeping.

This week Texas Democrats are pretending to get upset about a cat joke while praising a guy who joked about child molestation (with an actual child molester).

If a man suffered from multiple personality disorder, should he be entrusted with decisions for millions of other people? The question arises because there appear to be two James Talaricos, and they do not always agree with each other. One of them claims to be concerned about pedophilia, the other is funded by an Epstein-island-visitor. One of them says he’s against Big Tech, the other voted to give subsidies to data centers and takes money from Silicon Valley billionaires. One of them says fossil fuels are destroying the planet and the Texas oil-and-gas industry is like cassette tapes that aren’t going to last, the other says he’ll protect oil-and-gas jobs and stand up to his own party if they mess with the industry. One of them called capitalism an oppressive system that needed to be dismantled, the other is a proud capitalist. One of them voted against putting a ban on a state income tax into the Texas constitution, the other says he’s concerned about the affordability crisis. One of them said there are six biological sexes and that God is nonbinary, the other says there are two sexes and he missed the mark. One of them opposed restrictions on biological males in girls’ sports and called the problem manufactured, the other says he’ll oppose trans athletes in girls’ sports if it endangers safety or fairness. One of them voted against the bill banning puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries for minors, the other says he opposes gender-reassignment surgeries for minors and would support a national ban. One of them favored red-flag laws and accused Republicans of loving guns more than children, the other is a Second Amendment believer who just wants background checks and safe storage. One of them talked about the border as a welcome mat and tearing down ICE as a secret police force, the other is a border-security Democrat who never supported abolishing ICE. The Democrats aren’t happy that Ilhan Omar’s house was raided by DHS. I guess “No one is above the law” only applies to Republicans.

The Democrats seem to be losing ground in Harris County. That shouldn't be much of a shock when you consider how high property taxes and crime in the area are.

Just when polling comes out showing Talarico behind, he becomes a border hawk. Shocking.
