SECURE - as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary - ‘protected against attack or other criminal activity’ - not one mention of ‘receipts’ - I hope the @CalgaryMarriott does the decent thing and recompense you in full - obviously you’ve had enough stress already!!

That is just outrageous. I hope every guest realises they need receipts for all their goods before they stay @Marriott hotels in case something gets stolen from a supposedly SECURE lockup. Outrageous
Shame on you @MarriottIntl all my belongs passport, laptop, jewellery, luggage, stolen from secure lockup @CalgaryMarriott. 4 days getting home & now expected to produce receipts for every item I owned. Seriously Arne Sorenson is this the duty of care your guests can expect?
