I'm working through this problem right now.
I've said for about three years that training to integrate friendly FPV drones ISO Bn/Company live fire will be constrained by A) the bureaucracy at range control, B) the acquisitions bureaucracy.
The "A" is in effect. Treating these things like flying frag grenades from launch point to termination means slapping down an SDZ that keeps anyone from maneuvering anywhere near its launch site and target line. This is generally because we've come up with a solution to beat "B": Load explosives on the drone at the user level prior to launch.
Range Control Bureaucrats: "'M' DoDICs are unsafe and MSD must be adhered to once the charge it built [clutches pearls]!
No, supervise the explosive continuity during the loading process! So it's safe until the initiating system is armed (which would happen at an "Initial Point" (IP)).
Then treat it like Type I CAS and clear from IP-target.

Drone Dominance Program Gauntlet II orders are in the works.
Perennial Autonomy received the top award for the Deep Strike mission area, and Neros Technologies took top marks in the Close Quarters Battle mission area. Each received the maximum initial order of 8,000 units.
Other top performers included Hyperscale, Skycutter, Swarm Defense Technologies, ORQA US, XTEND Reality, Vector and ModalAI. Each received orders from the 60,000 pool based on performance.

I wrote this in June. Nothing has changed about why I keep speaking.
Except one thing. The Secretary is now saying it from the top.
"The days of the Pentagon rewarding the comfortable old guard for failure are over."
"Before 2028, we will pass a full audit."
That is clear intent. And when the boss sets clear intent, every leader below owes the same honesty in return.
So here is mine. The battlefield has changed. Drones see everything. Command posts get found and struck within hours. The network goes dark. Fuel and ammo get hunted. Units that train to a script get destroyed.
Our pacing threat is adapting now. We don't have the luxury of a decade-long requirements timeline. We either adapt faster or we react to them.
That's why I keep pushing for honest CTCs, an OPFOR free to win, power pushed down to junior leaders, and reform that moves at the speed of relevance.
It isn't about me. It's about the oath.
We swore to support and defend the Constitution. Not a program. Not a career. Not a comfortable slide.
And we owe the Soldiers we lead the truth about what they'll face, and training hard enough to bring them home.
Acknowledge the change. Own it. Lead through it.

๐จ BREAKING: Pete Hegseth says the overseas scam rings robbing Americans are tied to enemy militaries, and the War Department is going after them.
"There is a very clear connection between transnational cyber syndicates and enemy militaries and how they fund themselves," Hegseth said at the White House.
Per Hegseth, Cyber Command and the NSA are feeding intelligence and tracking data on overseas cyber networks straight to the Homeland Security Task Force.
Law enforcement uses it to map, disrupt and dismantle those networks.
"If they can't match us or beat us on the battlefield, which they can't, they try to move to the realm of cyberspace," he said.
