8/19 MLB PARLAY Quick Notes: Taking a shot on Miami to beat the @Phillies. Alcantara is on the bump and has turned things around allowing g jus 1 earned his L4 starts 3 of those were wins. With 1 or less in 7/10. Nola has seen better years, @Marlins can get to him. Sandy is also over this K prop in 6/10 and both starts vs the Phils. I like Baltimore to keep things close if not winning flat out. Will Warren has been TRASH with a 7.71 ERA this month. Not to mention the @Yankees used pretty much all their top bullpen guys with Rodons early exit. Bassitt has been formidable at home 3.09 ERA 3-1. @Orioles need wins if they want to stay in wildcard race. The best team in the AL gets a juicy matchup vs Scherzer who is way past his prime. The @RaysBaseball are over this number in 7/10 and 61% of home games this year. They als are over in 6 of L8 meetings with the @BlueJays. 8/19 4 LEG PARLAY BREAKDOWN Love these matchups! put together a 4 Leg heater with a lil change 💰 Def. Not a bad return when we hit! LEG 1: Love this number here. There’s NO WAY this should be at 4.5. Rodon has demolished this number in 7/10 and 78% of starts this season. The @Orioles have struggled with LHP all season with 6 of the L10 LHP going over this number and when I say over I mean way over with 9,6,11,9,9 and 5 Ks a piece. Rodon is coming off injury but note that he did toss 58 pitches in his rehab start in which he had 7 Ks. So I’m projecting at least 70 pitches and close to 5 innings of work. A K an inning shouldn’t be too hard vs the 26th ranked team in strikeouts this season. LEG 2: Detroit gets a juicy number here and I LOVE IT! The @Pirates have shown they need at least 8 runs to win a game as they are 0-9 when they don’t score 8 in August. With Keider on the mound 2.45 ERA in August and allowing 0-1 runs in 7 of his L10 starts, I doubt the Bucs get 8 here. Especially with a @tigers pen who’s 3.09 August ERA being formidable of late. Ashcraft has been a positive and coming off a gem yet he has a 5.12 ERA L7 starts. Detroit has been hitting and fielding better than Pittsburgh. Go Tigers. LEG 3: Abbott has gotten rocked lately allowing 3 or more runs in 6/10. The @Cardinals have scored 5 or more in 7/10 averaging 5.3 rpg. and we just need 4 here. They also have seen a lot of Abbott scoring 3,3,and 4 off him the L2 years. With a bottom 3rd bullpen I think STL scores 4 plus. They have been hot they keep it going tonight. LEG 4: I’ll gladly take the best team in the AL here. Especially at home where they are 42-21 this season the @BlueJays are just 28-32 away 27-34 as even or underdog while the @RaysBaseball are 36-19 as home favorite. Pretty straight forward here. So quick Breakdown. wanted to get one more play out for the team‼️ LEG 1: Despite the pretty big probability of Sug getting rocked here, I still like him to go over this K prop. He has bested this number in 67% of his starts this season while going over in both starts vs the @Dodgers this season in just 4 innings of work each game. He’s currently averaging 5.1 innings per game over a span of 10 games. 8 of the L10 RHP went over this number as well against LA. So as long as we don’t see an extremely early exit due to a blow up he should be able to go over. LEG 2: Ok so Sugano strikes out a measly 3 batters that doesn’t mean the @Rockies will win this game, LA owns Colorado winning 17 of 21 contests. That’s 78% of the meetings the last few years. The Dodgers would certainly like to notch a win here. They have been struggling at the plate and this is a perfect get right spot for the defending champs at Coors Field where they average 6.7 team runs allowing just 4.3 to the lowly Rockies. Plus Blake Snell is on the bump. LEG 3: Easy choice here with Sanchez on the hill at home. He’s 10-1 for gods sake with a 1.41 ERA. I don’t see how the @Phillies lose this game. Hell they have won 12 of his 14 starts this season at home. Winning his L5 starts by multiple runs with a +34 run differential. We just need a win any way it comes. Junk has been exactly that on the road with his 5.35 ERA away from home. Phils win. LEG 4: I’m going with the surging @Cardinals to win another won in Cinci. The cards have won their 4th straight series and are currently 9-4 the L13 games. Pallante has been formidable 12-6 3.45 ERA with STL winning 3 of his L4 starts. The Reds are going in the oppposite direction losing 6/9 games. Lowder gets the start 4-18 5.15 ERA. Cardinals win another one behind Alec Burleson white HoT Bat. 8/17 PARLAY BREAKDOWN Decided to take advantage of one of my 50% PBT on this 3 Leg heater. A couple of mismatches and a pitcher who is coming off his best start of the season yet is in for a rude awakening. Let’s get to the Breakdown! LEG 1: This matchup is between 2 of the Hottest teams in baseball. Yet only one of them has realistic hopes of making the playoffs. The Mets will send their best pitcher in cowboy Ohtani to the mound. He’s been formidable all year but has actually struggled at home lately losing 3 of the L4 games at Citi Field. The Pads will counter with Walker Buehler who the Padres have earned a win behind in 6 straight starts. Allowing just 2 combined runs vs the @Dback and @Brewers winning by 4 or more runs in each. San Diego is averaging 4.8 runs per game in the last 13 contests and that should be enough for Buehler to lead them to another victory. @Padres has everything to play for while the @Mets at best will be playing spoiler the rest of the year. Pads win. LEG 2: This comes to down to the simple fact that Bailey Ober has been a trash can all season. He allows a ton of hard contact allowing 23.7% of batted balls hit above 100 MPH exit velo. Which is definitely below average of the typical MLB rate. He’s allowed an average of 3.1 earned runs over his L10 games allowing 3 or more in 7/10. The Braves have scored 4 or more in 60% of the L20 games and have went over this number in 3 straight vs the @Twins. Minnesota as a team are allowing 6.6 opponent runs the L5 games. The @Braves run it up tonight. LEG 3: Castillo is coming off his best start of the season. Yet, that was against the @Reds. Today he gets a much tougher matchup vs the cubs who have 6 starters batting over .333 against him the L3 years. Now he finds himself at Wrigley Field which is not ideal as he has struggled on the road with a 5.49 ERA. Not surprising as this has been his M/O for his whole career. The @Cubs will work him hard as they see the 3rd most pitches per plate appearance and 3rd lowest chase rate.
