We do not have youth literacy data, but this is how Karnataka fares in Education Index (2022). @EduMinOfIndia @CMofKarnataka focus on Kalyana Karnataka.
I made this infographic to show that you can't really ascribe religious or cultural explanations for why certain regions fall behind on human capital development. All the Muslim Central Asian countries and Iran are at 99-100% youth literacy.
Iran and the Islamic revolutionaries invested aggressively in expanding educational opportunities to its entire population (including a large portion of which were nomadic herders).
The Soviet revolutionaries in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan also invested aggressively in expanding educational opportunities to the entire population (which also included a large number of nomadic herders).
There are zero religious and cultural explanations for why Pakistan is lagging on this front other that its feudal elites monopolize a large share of its fiscal resources for its pet projects.
Taliban controlled Afghanistan should really be the only exception.
Not a single city in Karnataka with a metro outside Bengaluru! Maharashtra has three. Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai.
By now Hubballi-Dharawada, Mysuru and Mangaluru should have been Pune/Nagpur sized cities and had metros.
We will steal your taxes
We will reduce your representation
We will eat your jobs by foulplay
We will not respect your language
We will impose our language
We will badmouth your city 24*7
We will decide who is a nationalist
Now we will also tell you who built your city
Kalaburagi is a Kannada city like Bengaluru. And people of Kalaburagi have Bengaluru as their de facto and de jure capital. Karnataka should decide how and where it spends its money.
This is only a Bengaluru problem btw and we need to save it from further dilution. Bengaluru Kannada dialect needs to thrive not vanish or get extremely diluted.
ಇದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಈಗಲೇ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು!
Karnataka alone needs 7-8 corridors crossing its top 6 cities with Hubli, Hassan, Shivmogga emerging as key junctions. @nitin_gadkari

Funny how they convinced the society that human ingenuity requires a degree.
🚨 Ravi Tamta, a BA graduate from Almora, Uttarakhand, has built an electric flying vehicle without engineering degree.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ravi Tamta assembled the HAPIDA SKYNeX prototype from components including some sourced from China rather than manufacturing a fully original design from scratch; similar single-seat electric eVTOL vehicles are commercially available from Chinese suppliers.
