Anyone wishing to make accusations in a tweet reply to me about the salary cap compliance of any @nrl club, but hasn't previously registered that complaint with the appropriate authorities at the NRL, or provided concrete evidence regarding it, do not bother me with it. #BLOCKED

With the @NRL free agency negotiation window officially opening on November 1, it might be worth sharing the table below: Over the past three seasons the @sydneyroosters have recruited 11 players with NRL or Test Rugby experience to their Club, and have farewelled 22.

Sam Walker, 24, will make his Australian @Kangaroos debut on Sunday against @Fiji_RL in Brisbane. He will become the 88th man to play for the Kangaroos whilst representing the @sydneyroosters No club has had as many Kangaroo representatives. Walker will be Kangaroo No. 868.

“I call a ‘local player’ a player that comes through your junior pathways,” Millward said. “A good example, everyone criticises the Roosters, but they recruit elite players in and they put them in their pathways and make them even better.” This logic is hard for so many though.

Didn’t think you’d ever see me type these words but Paul Cawley has a great take on this ‘beyond stupid’ anthem stance from a vocal minority involving our Australian sports stars. If you want to sing, sing, if not - it’s your choice, not Dean Ritchie’s. foxsports.com.au/nrl/world-c…

Pleasure to have @sydneyroosters Hall of Famer, John Brass, and his extended family, at Moore Park this morning to take them on a tour of the Roosters Foundation Room and training facilities. John was in Sydney celebrating his 80th birthday with family and friends.

For those interested all the @sydneyroosters (men’s and women’s) and the competition records for those competitions have all been updated to include all changes as a result of the 2026 seasons. Check out through the link below: roosters.com.au/history/club…

The @sydneyroosters will be represented by 24 of its 2026 players at this year's World Cup (12 men and 12 women). Lindsay Collins (Australia) and Billy Smith (England) will unfortunately miss the tournament due to injury, as will Aliyah Nasio, given Tonga (W) failed to qualify.

For the second time in three years the @sydneyroosters have farewelled over 25% of its Top Thirty @NRL squad following the completion of a Top Four season, the bulk of whom are very high profile departures. The figures in brackets are total NRL games played prior to departure.

Presentation nights at the @sydneyroosters are always a season highlight but when you win both the @NRL and the @NRLWomens competitions it is particularly special. Full house here in the Noble Stand at the @scg celebrating the extraordinary achievements of 2026.
