The property market in Joburg has collapsed. Property developers in leafy suburbs are struggling to sell.
There is one particular development with houses priced at R5 million that is still unoccupied a year after completion.
It boils down to the deterioration of the water infrastructure, in particular, and poor service delivery.
Public parks around Joburg are not maintained. Potholes are not fixed. Traffic and street lights are not working and rubbish is not always collected on time.
But despair not. The EFF will turn this city around.
