UPDATE: Judge Carter ends his hearing with a warning to DOJ:
"This court believes it would be wise that any threats to state and county elected employees cease immediately. Good night."
He will issue a formal ruling tomorrow but appears to be rejecting DOJ's emergency efforts.

Hackers are attempting to breach the Federal Elections Commission, the federal agency that regulates U.S. elections.

Ik was enigszins sarcastisch, maar hier een serieuzere gedachte: Volgens mij zegt Locke’s sociaal contract theorie, gebaseerd op oa universele rechten (i.e. rechten die ieder mens bezit vanuit het mens zijn), helemaal niks over territoriale begrenzing. Belangrijker nog, volgens mij zegt niemand dat die universele rechten ook inhouden dat iedereen zich maar overal moet kunnen vestigen. Dat is een stropop.
